Synopsis

All Letty Diaz has ever known was anger which tended to get her in trouble and sent to juvie on multiple occasions, but her mom figured that a move would do all of their family good, and moving into a tiny apartment in Roseda with her mom, grandma and brother wasn't exactly the dream especially when their first night their Letty has to once again protect her brother when a couple of jocks decide to pick on him, although this time she's not alone and older guy was right there to fight with her.

Causing the two to end up round up by the police although Lettys mother came and picked her up and Miguel had to explain how it was just a misunderstanding this time and lied like a rug saying that Letty would do better.

And when the first day of school comes that proves to be harder then it looks seeing as those guys happen to go there as well, but before she could lose her temper a group of popular girls call her over to their table and begin talking to her and inviting her to hangout with them.

Where then as time goes on, Letty starts to become real friends with them even though those girls make fun of almost everyone in school but when their neighbor asks to teach her and her brother karate things in school start to change drastically where not only do those who we're picked on start to become the popular kids but Letty ends up having even more friends then she had before and even two boys crushing on her which has never happened before, so maybe this move was a good change.
