Jeon Nari stepped out of the black Maybach, the soft click of the car door closing behind her. Her chauffeur gave her a respectful nod before slipping back into the driver's seat, the engine purring softly as he waited.

She took off her oversized sunglasses, revealing the sharp glint in her eyes as she watched the towering apartment complex of Yang Enterprises before her.

Sher Yang had been elusive, but not elusive enough. Nari's last visit to Sher's apartment had been met with the news that, to her dismay,  the girl had wittingly moved out, no doubt to evade the consequences of her actions. Clearly, she was guilty of releasing the article's contents.

It only took a single phone call to her father's secretary to track her down; the girl hadn't even left the country. Rookie mistake.

A shiver of anticipation coursed through her, as refreshing as the breeze that teased the loose strands of her pin straight hair. Adjusting the strap of her handbag, she stepped in, a familiar sense of determination setting in.

Her stiletto heels clicked rhythmically against the polished marble floors of the penthouse lobby, as she maintained her expression calm and composed.

As the doors drew open, Sher's eyes widened in shock, a satisfying reaction. Nari allowed herself a small, triumphant smile.

"Surprised to see me?" She asked, her voice smooth and honeyed, yet carrying an edge that hinted at her impatience.

"Nari..." Sher's irritation was palpable as the room seemed to shrink around her. "What are you doing here? Thought you got what you wanted."

"Taehyung? Don't make me laugh. I'm only here to fix the reputation the idiot damaged."

"Your pseudo-sibling game got boring, I assume?"

Nari's patience thinned "Don't blame me for something he started. I couldn't care less about the fucker. He played you just as much as he did me."

"Not even close. You're a shitty person, Nari let's face it."

"Listen, don't justify your actions with his mistakes."

"I have no idea what you're talking about."
