Back at the villa, Nari was facing some actual troubles.

"We've thought about it and we decided to let you stay until you graduate. But be prepared to leave as soon as the graduation ceremony finishes." Nari's mother told her. The woman rested on the counter after placing the breakfast plate in front of her daughter.

"So I'm actually leaving, huh?" She scoffed.

"We warned you many times before honey, it's your fault you didn't take it seriously." She sighed caressing her face. "Believe me, it pains me to do this but being successful takes a lot of sacrifices."

"Isn't getting engaged to someone I don't even know, too much of a sacrifice?" Nari pointed out.

Her mother shook her head, chuckling slightly. "How do you think me and your father got together?"

"And are you happy?" Nari challenged.

The woman thought for a second. "I'm alright. I have you don't I? Plus your father treats me very well."

Nari sighed, knowing this conversation wouldn't get her anywhere.

"I don't get why you're so against all this. He's very handsome, successful and a real gentleman. What's not to like?" Her mother asked, stealing an untouched sausage off her plate. "Unless...you already have someone you're not telling me about."

"What makes you think that?" Nari tried sounding as convincing as possible.

"Well, we left aware that you had no idea where your life was going and now we come back and you're so certain on staying here as if you have something planned." She smiled knowingly. "Now, who's this boy who cleared your troubled mind?"

"No one." The girl shrugged. "I don't have time for that."

Yet her mother continued relentlessly. "Hmm, does he perhaps go by the name of...Kim Taehyung?"

Nari turned to her mother with a startled expression. "What? No-"

"Oh quit the act." She laughed whole-heartedly. "I see the way you look at him. I guess I really did miss a lot while I was gone."

"Mom-!" Nari whined, embarrassed by this whole conversation. "It's nothing serious. What we have... it's not going anywhere."

"Because you don't want it to, or him?"

"Both." She replied ambiguously.

"If you say so." Her mother shrugged. "But you should know, its not worth investing time in a relationship that won't benefit you in the long run. How can we trust you to run the company if you can't follow such a basic principle."
