I just pulled up to the school and I don't see soph or briars cars. I grabbed all my stuff and Nia  and made my way to the daycare.

"Just so you know some kids got the flu, they were all sent home but there is always a chance that Nia could get it."

"Okay thanks for letting me know."

I made my way to the locker room to drop off my dance stuff and then to my locker to put my bag up. Today is a practice day since tomorrow is the first two games  of the season. I'm going outside to eat and watch TikTok for a little before I go in cause I know most of the girls will be late.

"Hel- why are you in here?"

"Why do you already have an attitude I just wanna talk."

"Yeah well I don't so.."

"Mila."

"Leave."

I started to walk away.

"Catrina."

"Don't. I already told you I don't want to talk just leave briar."

"No. We need to talk so endless you want me annoying you all day then I suggest you come with me so we can talk."

"What."

She grabbed my wrist and led me out to the hallway.

"We need to talk about what happened last night."

"Oh you mean you assuming you know me."

"No I mean me not being ready and you pushing me."

"Briar you know-"

"Yeah I know that's not what you were trying to do but you did."

"Why aren't you?"

"What?"

"I'm not trying to be rude but why aren't you ready?"

"The last girl, she told people. I made sure everyone who knew thought she was lying but it took a long time."

"But you know I'm not like that."

"I do, that still doesn't mean I'm ready but I'm getting there. Trust."

"Okay I'll see you at lunch?"

"Yes."

I gave her a quick kiss and walked back into the gym.

"You're dancing to the beat, yes some moves will correlate with the words but you need to be on beat."

"Okay all of you eat good and rehydrate we will meet back her in an hour."

I walked into the locker room and washed my face with some cold water. I changed my shirt so I wasn't all sweaty and made my way to the cafeteria.

I found briar at her normal table and waltzed over, taking a seat on her lap.

"You good baby?"

"Yeah just annoyed."

"You wanna talk?"

"Yeah can we go get coffee."

"Sure."

She pulled out of the school and turned to me as she stopped at the light.

"So whats annoying you?"

"Everyone and everything. The girls are off and I know there tired but we're not even going all out yet and they can't listen, Nia is most likely going to get sick, I'm just stressed. And I need to be slutted out." I mumbled the last part under my breath.

"I get that, are you coming over tonight."

"I don't know I'm going to see if my cousin can watch Nia cause isn't tomorrow game night?"

"Damn yeah I forgot about that."

We got our coffee and a little snack and then headed back to school.

"Yes you can keep her all weekend if you want."

"Yayyy I missed her so much bring her over asap."

"Okay calm down you have two days."

I got all Nia's stuff together and brought her over to Celina's house.

"Hi pretty girl!"

"Oh hey Celina yeah I missed you too."

"Girl shut up you know I love you too. She's just cuter."

I talked to Celina for a while and then made my way over to briars. The door was locked so I took out my key and went in getting comfy on the sofa.

"Hello?"

"It's Mila."

"Oh, okay I'll be out in a sec."

She came out rubbing her towel on her hair. I looked down at her arms and all her veins were popping out.

"You workout today?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Your arms look good."

"Thank you." She said with a light smile.

"I have to run some errands, do you wanna come or just Han out here till I get back?"

"Can we get food."

"Sure."

"Okay I'll come."

We've been driving for a while, at some point she put her hand on my thigh.

"I gotta stop by my work and then we're done."

"Okay."

We pulled up and I immediately recognized the building.

"I'm coming in."

"You sure?"

"Yup I wanna see your boss, might even get you a raise."

She looked extremely confused but got out anyway. I walked in and made my way toward his office.

"Zietto leooo."

"Ah principessa what are you doing here!"

"I swear you seriously know everyone."

"Briar? You two know each other?"

"Yes, shes my girlfriend. And he's my uncle my dad works for the company too."

"Your what?"

"If you came to family holidays you would know this already and she is my girlfriend."

"I'll let it slide cause she is one of the more respectable ones here but still tell me if anything happens, I know how to hide a body."

"Alright I'm gonna go see everyone one else so you two can talk or whatever."

We got back to the apartment and sat at the island getting our food out that we picked up on the way.

"You know I heard what you said in the car earlier."

"Huh?"

"You're not very good at mumbling."

"I'm going to take a shower."

"Okay." She said chuckling.
