The sun had just set, casting a golden glow over the town. The air was still and warm, and the smell of fried chicken permeated the air. Gojo and Geto stood outside of the KFC, their hands clasped together. They had been dating for a few months now, but they had never said the words "I love you" to each other.
"Are you ready?" Gojo asked, his voice filled with nervousness.
"I think so," Geto replied, his voice just yshaky.
They took a deep breath and walked into the KFC. The restaurant was almost empty, save for a few families and a group of teenagers. Gojo and Geto walked up to the counter and ordered their food.
As they waited for their food, they made small talk. They talked about their day, their work, and their plans for the weekend. But their minds were both on the same thing: the confession they were about to make.
When their food was ready, they took it to a table in the corner of the restaurant. They sat down and started to eat. They were both still nervous, but they were also excited. This was the moment they had been waiting for.
Finally, Gojo couldn't take it anymore. He put down his food and looked at Geto. "I love you," he said.
Geto's eyes widened in surprise. "You do?" he asked.
"Yes," Gojo said, "I do."
Geto smiled. "I love you too."
They leaned forward and kissed. It was a soft, gentle kiss, full of love and longing. When they finally pulled away, they were both smiling.
"I'm so glad we finally said it," Gojo said.
"Me too," Geto said.
They finished their food and left the KFC hand-in-hand. They walked down the street, laughing and talking. They felt like they could take on the world.
They knew that they would be together forever.
