Chapter 7: Dimensional Connection

My siblings and I were told stories by my grandmother about constellation and I only knew about the dimensional system during my time at the Royal School through some of the famous astronomers. While I still doubted myself knowing who I was and what power I prepared for, my friends, Yuruto Himemiya and Yuto Tsukishima, sons of the kings in Himemiya, had had magic before they gained their titles. Yet they never care about it. Instead, through my advice, they always tried their best to become better than themselves. I admired them so much that sometimes, I felt I became jealous of both of them. Although they said that I had magic as well and fully supported me, I wasn't sure if it was real because according to my grandfather, my abilities were not awakened yet. This made me feel like I was like one of my childhood idols back in my hometown, who truly reflected me as an insecure young boy despite my human origin.

I had no idea when and how I loved Astronomy, so much so that I found out that during my semester, to my shock and horror, I was acting exactly like my siblings, skipping classes and learning my favorite subject, which was none other than Astronomy. According to their teacher, Yumiru, those who were interested in Astronomy would have more knowledge than others, which he could describe to me whenever he saw my absence. He was so surprised yet impressed by my interest that after our first semester, he soon used my example for other students later, like with Yuruto with Culture, and Yuto with Nature. Yet he never judged my actions, although I knew he would.

At Royal School, we can learn our subjects from Mathematics, Sciences, Languages to Arts. Yet, while I was studying the constellation subject, according to both of them, I was seen to be more fascinated by Arts rather than other subjects. Because they always saw me playing instruments well due to the fascinating melodies as well as my expression and feelings that were found to be in the music I was playing. They said that I played so beautifully that all of us forgot to go back to sleep when it was midnight, which resulted in us being scolded for our sleepy attitude during classes. After the event, despite my bad habits, I improved and passed both subjects with flying colors, along with the other ones despite my efforts to learn those well, after our graduation.

Sometimes after that, despite my love for Music and Literature, my fascination with Astronomy got the better of me, and looking at the night sky has become my daily habit since my childhood, which gave me more inspiration and interest in mythology than what I could explain what it was. That was when I found out that I had made the right choice...
