This is the first time I traveled to Himemiya. Alone.

Himemiya is quite a big town and was rumored to be the largest town in history. It had gone through the part of the history that even the residents here still remembered clearly in detail, every time we asked about any part of the events, they would answer all of our questions. It took us years to get used to their cultures and laws, but at least we could have multiple interactions as the residents were friendly and kind to tourists like us. I was not sure if Sakutaro knew Himemiya or history like the others because we were not alone. Not only humans here, but creatures lived here, and more specifically, both of them have coexisted for years. I asked a few residents and it turned out that they were hybrids, the humans having the creature's blood. Despite my suspicion, I quickly changed the subject by looking around to get used to the place before renting a pension with a satisfactory cost, because Sakutaro said that we would move straight away after the contract with the hostess expired.

While cleaning the room, Sakutaro and I also enjoyed our life. Sakutaro gave me tips for having an enjoyable dinner by recommending food and drinks that were suitable for my taste, despite my rejection due to going on a diet, which unfortunately angered Sakutaro and forced me to eat all of the food on the table. Moreover, we also went and climbed the fence and watched the beautiful lake shined by the moon, a habit that I hadn't done for a long time since my mental state. Sakutaro hadn't seen my happy face for a long time, either, and never in his life had he seen me smiling brightly like now.

Both of us had to admit that the picture of the scenic beauty in front of us was much more beautiful than what we saw in the fantasy imagination. Even though I enjoyed the scene, Sakutaro never admitted how he felt about it. Because I had a mental illness, worrying about the negative effects due to the consequences of the trauma, Sakutaro asked me not to get out of the room until when my health was better. He was so worried about his life due to being a supporter of the youngest son of the Kurosaki family that when I was sleeping, he stayed up late to make a plan for his escape in case of was charged for making their son hurt. Despite being immortal, he was still afraid and he was worried about his future as he could not believe that there was an atmosphere that made him fear rather than be proud. Not because he was afraid of his power, but rather, because something wrong had already happened to him right from the beginning. Yet I, who was recovering my memories, had never told him about this, which was difficult for him to solve and understand the power that I was having.

" Yukiko, it is midnight now. Let's go home and have a rest."

Despite the difficulty in helping his friend, Sakutaro had to make sure that everything would have no involvement in their daily lives and powers. Meanwhile, because I couldn't sleep, I took my time looking closely at my hourglass, the present from my father, as if the sand was flowing down in the glass and moving backward when I switched positions.
