Small warning- This chapter is a little violent and possibly creepy.

Anyways, have fun.

Three months later, it was her birthday. She celebrated her birthday in the quiet and dark desolation of her closet/room. She had finally taught herself to read properly, but after reading a few pages of the single book in her room, she decided that she didn't want to read anymore.

The past three months, Kagami had regular visits with Chisuke, studying her quirk and taking notes. Kagami made Chisuke nervous, but the woman was much more polite than the other adults in her life. Which wasn't saying much.

Her hair was quite long now, reaching her waist. The curly pale blue locks were a bit tangled, because she didn't have access to a hairbrush, but they were at least clean. Chisuke blinked a bit. Things seemed... blurrier than they had before. She shrugged it off.

There was a knock on the door, causing her to flinch and fall out of her hammock.

As Chisuke pulled herself up to her feet, the door swung open. A familiar form stood there in the doorway, arms crossed. She noticed that his suit was a bit more rumpled than usual.

"Come on, brat. Your father wants you." Aibo gestured for her to follow before storming off.Chisuke hurried after him, following behind like a duckling. Aibo didn't care enough to take account of how she was much smaller than him, and he even decided to quicken his pace up a bit.

"Great All Might, you're so slow," Aibo muttered under his breath.

"H-hm? What does that mean?" Chisuke asked, cocking her head to the side.

"You idiot," he growled. "Slow means that you're not walking at a normal pace and are instead dragging behind."

"No, not that," Chisuke corrected, her cheeks burning in embarrassment. "What does 'All Might' mean?"

"Oh. Heh, I guess you're stupider than you look," Aibo chuckled dryly. "All Might is the number one hero in Japan. Blonde, blue eyes, muscles. The type teen girls would fangirl over, like an actor in a movie made for TV. Overrated, if I say so myself."

Chisuke's eyes sparkled slightly. She had heard about heroes before, people who save and protect others. She hadn't actually met or seen any in person, but she saw clips from the news when Aibo scrolled on his glowing box, which she learned was a phone. Heroes seemed... amazing. They saved people, they made them feel safe. Like... a protector.

The two walked down the artificially lit hallway, silent as the grave. Well, besides the pattering of Chisuke's footsteps, and the stomping of Aibo's. There was metal on the bottom of his boots, so his steps sounded similar to a tap dancer's.

He brought her down the stairs, going two levels below the main floor. Chisuke didn't know what was down here, but she assumed there was part of the factory here, or perhaps some testing rooms for the equipment to see what would be least likely to explode. But... it was late at night, and she didn't see people bustling around...

"...why are we going down here? What does Mr. Kinzoku need?" Chisuke asked quietly.

"Shut up. You horrid child." Aibo was unsympathetic to her confusion and curiosity. She had noticed the dramatic change in his personality over the past months, but she was unsure why it had occurred. She had a few theories, but none of them felt right.

Chisuke just kept following along, deciding to stay quiet. She was often silenced by adults, so this wasn't anything she was unused to.

The hallways were filled with unlabeled white doors and sickeningly white walls. It made everything seem brighter than it really was. Aibo stopped at a door and opened it, pushing Chisuke inside and slamming the door shut. She glanced back, but it was too late.
