-Ten minutes earlier-
Footsteps clanked against the floor... two different people... no, three... one is hidden from the human eye... but their scent... clearer than broad daylight. That one didn't smell of danger, though... the other two were her priority.
"Ha!" Mirko sprang through the air, spinning and sending her foot colliding with the back of one head. The other man was too short to be hit with the blow, and he flinched, startled that his companion had been knocked out. Mirko aimed another kick, but something abnormal happened.
The short man's skin turned to copper right before her crimson eyes.
An agonizing shock rippled through her body, electricity searing through her. She collapsed to the floor, twitching. It would be about seven minutes before she could move again. The copper man scooped the pale man up into his arms with surprising strength for someone his size.
Aibo Purottoama and Jiki Kinzoku had gotten away.

A soft rocking... a feeling of warmth... the smell of another person... all things that Chisuke was unaccustomed to. But she was feeling it now...
...she could stay there forever...
Her body jolted, the sudden urge to fight instinctively ripping at her. Before she had even opened her eyes, her hands reached to whoever was holding her, her touch causing blood to pool from the stranger's arm.
A woman with long, white hair and rabbit ears yelped. She nearly dropped the child, which Chisuke was aiming for, but she regained a firm hold on her. "Kid, kid! Calm down, calm down..."
"Are you some sort of broken record?" a tall man with long hair and scary eyes mused in a voice devoid of emotion.
"Shut up or I'll make you hold the kid!" the rabbit woman snapped back. Chisuke continued to try to wriggle out of her strong hold. The child was scared and confused; who were these people? What happened to her restraints? Where were Aibo and the other scary men? Why was there a rabbit person here, along with three men that resembled a tree, a sphere, an elf, and a gargoyle with goggles?
She remembered something that Aibo had told her a long time ago, something about mutations. Chisuke had never been outside of this place, so she decided to assume that being a rabbit person was normal. That didn't cease her desperate struggling, though.
"Kid, please put that quirk away... I can't help you if I pass out from blood loss," the rabbit woman pointed out, attempting to use a soft tone. Chisuke still noticed her wincing, though. She relented, taking her hands off her arm and starting to just kick at her to try to get her to let her go.
"Um... better, I guess?" the rabbit woman said hesitantly, chuckling faintly.
"Why don't I just restrain her?" the tree man suggested casually. Chisuke started kicking harder.
"Oh," the rabbit woman muttered. "I don't think she liked that idea, Kamui."
"I'll hold her!" the round man exclaimed, grinning. "Kids love me!"
"A large man she doesn't know holding her? I think she would start freaking out more. Sorry, Fat," the rabbit woman said apologetically.
"I know it's short for Fat Gum, but it still sounds insulting..."
"Hush," the gargoyle man ordered sternly. "Your collective idiocy is overwhelming the kid."
They all collectively grew quiet, glancing down at Chisuke. She was a worrying sight- pale, scared, weak, bloodstained... she didn't deserve to be treated like some sort of object that they had to choose someone to carry. She was a living human being who needed help. The rabbit, sphere, and tree grew guilty. The gargoyle man took Chisuke, silently inspecting her. His hands were calloused, but rather gentle. There was no emotion in his eyes, just cold calculation.
"You. Fat Gum's kid. Got any gauze or bandages in your pouch?" he asked the elf boy. The elf boy squeaked in fear, searching his pouches. He grabbed a couple bandages and held them out. The tired gargoyle man snatched them, using his scarf to clean her off and applying the bandages.
"Aw," the rabbit woman teased. "Is the scary Eraserhead going soft for a kid?"
"One more word and I'll be feeding her a homecooked meal of rabbit stew next," he snapped. That shut her up.
Chisuke was frozen in place. She had stopped trying to fight when the gargoyle man had picked her up, his glare making her freeze. Her body was tense, not even relaxing when he started treating her scratches and scrapes. This was familiar to her... the masked doctor had bandaged her.
Before she killed him.
Her memories started flooding back, causing her to tremble. The yelling, the blood, the scared girl... the twisted gratifying feeling of killing that condescending man... the feeling of being a true monster. A small sob worked its way past her lips the first emotion she had felt in a long time.
The round man seemed to have noticed that she was on the brink of tears, and he wrapped her in his arms, gaining an annoyed look from the gargoyle man who was in the middle of wrapping her scrapes. Chisuke jolted slightly- what was this round marshmallow man doing?
He was... soft... so she wasn't exactly going to fight, even if she could. She was exhausted and the drugs in her system threw off her coordination. Her fighting against being held by the rabbit woman was what did it for her. She was undeniably tired.
She succumbed to the darkness once more.
---
The smell of sanitization pulled her back to reality. Had she fallen asleep in the doctor's-
Nevermind. He was dead.
She pried her eyes open, half expecting Dr. Gure to somehow be alive, scolding her for letting her quirk out of control. But... he wasn't there. Instead, a kind elderly woman greeted her.
"Hey, sweetie. How are you feeling?" she asked, her voice sickeningly sweet, as if dipped in honey and sprinkles. Which... was a sickeningly sweet combination. It almost brought her to tears again, chipping at the wall holding back emotions she had been forced to repress for months. But she held back her emotions this time.
Chisuke opened her mouth, as if about to speak, but no words came out. Her throat felt raw, unused. She coughed lightly. What the hell was going on? She had just been forced to be a torture device just hours ago, and now she was in a hospital of some sort?
She knew one thing- her life was now forever changed.
Sorry for the short chapter, and sorry for not adding any for so long. I have been a bit busy lately, and a little bit unmotivated. I wish that my story was a bit better, and a genuine heartfelt thanks to the people who have added my story to their library and who have taken their time to read this. I appreciate it. I don't know if I'll add anymore chapters, or if I'll add them anytime soon, but if you want me to, please say so. I started another story, and if things go well, I'll hopefully be updating on both that story and this story. I'm pretty sure that was all I had to say.
