Narrator's POV:
"I AM GROOT!" Groot yelled.
"Slow down? We can't slow down." As the ship's warning lights flickered, the male raccoon with brown, black, and white fur and red eyes known as Rocket firmly explained to his partner earlier where, in contrast, the ship rapidly increased its power because it had a bounty to catch and kept denying Groot's request for getting the fixer-upper for its ship, "This bounty is worth a million credits, and we almost got it!"
Rocket continues to pilot the ship at an alarming speed, causing pieces to come off their engines. Groot valiantly uses his branches to hold the pieces together, but they are at risk of tearing apart. Despite this, Rocket uses even more power to speed up towards their target. At this crucial moment, Groot firmly suggests a course of action: "I am Groot!"
"What do you mean 'a new ship?' The ship is fine!" Suddenly, one of the controls explodes, and Rocket uses duct tape to wrap it around the damaged area so it doesn't worsen. Then, one of the tubes pops out a hole, causing Rocket to gasp.
He quickly removes his bubblegum from his mouth, sticks it in the hole, and smirks in relief, "Running just like the day I bought it." Rocket sits down with his controls before the gum pops up and lands pieces of gum all over his furry brown, black, and white head with an annoying look. "I am Groot." Groot slightly panics at the sight of the meteor, signaling that they're going to crash, "Of course, I see it! I'm not going to let us- Augh, woah!"
Immediately after falling off his seat, Rocket screamed in fear of crashing. However, he quickly regained control and attempted to pull the lever down, but it failed miserably.: "Uh oh..." Groot braces himself for impact in one split second as they both survive the crash.

After what felt like hours, Rocket and Groot landed their ship near the junkyard, where they picked up some valuable gadgets and spare old parts for the ship: "I am Groot."
"I told you, our ship is fine." Rocket responded to his friend's question while rummaging around and through an unused, broken ship and continued, "Just help me scour the junkyard for some spare parts." Determinedly, he overcomes the wires connected to the battery and breaks free. Rocket grunts in annoyance as one of the canisters of batteries rolls away and falls into a nearby hole.
He reaches out to grab it but is taken aback by a stunning sight: "WHOA!" Rocket exclaims.
Making him drool; his red eyes sparkled at the orange ship. Rocket jumped down and slowly walked towards it, marveling at how shiny and pristine it was, whereas Groot joined him, grew confused at his friend, and waved his large wooden hand to wake Rocket up from daydreaming, but it didn't work.
Until the slithering Broker came out from behind the shadows by announcing his presence: "~You have a fine~ eye for machines, my friend." He continues, "That beautiful, mint condition restored, classic ION drive starship can be yours. For 3,000,000 million credits." The price interrupted Rocket's daydream ship, turning in disbelief, but he recovered quickly by putting his paws together and grinning, "I know you're attached to our old junker."
He tells Groot, who stares in confusion at how quick his friend was to change his mind: "But know what? I think it's time we get a new ship. Three million credits, huh? So, how much do we have in the bank?"
⌈---New ship: ........................ 3,000,000 credits---⌉
⌊---Current balance: ..............................0 credits---⌋
"Huh, we've got some work to do." Rocket crossed his arms at Groot.
He chuckled, "I am Groot."
