I think that moving to the UK with my mum and my sister when my parents split was a good choice. Well, mostly becos' certain Brits grew up here.

There had been rumors going around that Harry bought a flat in Doncaster, some said it was to be closer to Louis. My guess was that the rumor was true.

Harry had driven, not really for much of a long time, until we got out into a barren country-side road. It really seemed so picture-perfect.

"So tell me," Harry cast a glance at me every now and then. "How did you end up here if you knew Sheena on Guam?"

I sighed softly and looked down at my hands, "It's kind of a long story.."

I glanced at Harry, who seemed to be in thought. Then, to my surprise, he pulled over to the side of the road. He parked and turned the car off, unbuckling and facing me.

"I will always have time for you," he smiled gently.

Something made me believe those words.

I decided to unbuckled and angle my body so I was facing him. "I guess you could say that my mum and stepdad split. I decided to stay with my mum and we moved her with my sister. She said we needed a fresh start."

Harry looked at me with concern. "Why did they get a divorce?"

I had secretly hoped he wouldn't ask that. "My stepdad.. He..." my voice quivered a bit. "He was abusive."

I felt Harry become motionless. He reached across and took my hand, lifting my chin up with the other. He shook his head, "No woman should have to go through the cruel touch of a man. Especially a mother in front of their child."

I closed my eyes and shook my head, "It wasn't my mother."

Harry stopped breathing, I could tell. He was taken aback. "No, it was.."

I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to block out the memory.

"It was me."
