Chapter 18: The Carnival (1/5)

The three took a plane and a private car Aether (somehow) rented. The guys have both wondered, where in the globe has she gotten the cash (2 million at the most. o.o ). First, they unpacked their things in their temporary living area, which is a hotel. They bought 2 rooms, one for each gender. They started and finished packing around the afternoon so they decided to explore the current country they're in, which is Akita. (They were originally at Okinawa.) Their first goal is to go to every available Carnivals in Japan. (The list goes from first to last, which is in order by: Akita, Kyoto, Tokyo, Miyagi then Osaka.)

The trio went to look at each shops, buying a few things like groceries, clothing (Well... Aether did.) and souvenirs for their friends. They got home in the evening since they're all hungry. Aether made a small snack, enough to hold their hunger until the first carnival started. The trio ate their snack and left to the carnival. When they arrived, guys were stating at Aether as she cheerfully skipped while the duo men, were looking around casually, ignoring the drooling females behind them as they pass. Although they were glaring at the males who were staring/drooling/pervert stare at the oblivious and childish Aether, who was magically eating Pudding, which she got for free, (somehow).

About 5 minutes in the carnival, a swarm of women was crowding around the guys, as Aether... she mysteriously disappeared after finding some delicious food and fun games, leaving the poor duo stuck with random aged women. (Includes pervy Seniors...) The duo manage to break free and hide. They got out of their hiding place only to notice a familiar group of gangs, Luffy's and Ace's. Of course, the were noticed by Luffy who shouted excitingly while having a handful of food/meat. "OII!! Tra-guy! Kid! Nice to see you here!" He shouted, before grabbing a piece/chunk of meat and eating it. The rest of the group turned to see the duo, bewildered, except Ace who casually greeted them like a normal person. "Yo, Trafalgar, Eustass." The duo sent back the greeting and resulted the captains talking until Luffy mentioned Aether, who the duo completely forgot, since they were desperately trying to escape a mob of women.

The duo looked at their surroundings only to panic as they couldn't see a single speck of the girl. The gang noticed their distress and asked, "Ne, what's wrong guys?" "We lost Aether somewhere while being crowded by women..." they replied simultaneously. Leaving the gangs to sweatdrop and look all over since they might get killed for not bringing the niece of the Dean's back in one piece. They all split up to search for her in partners.

Meanwhile ......

The albino was currently skipping while holding a giant adorible Lion stuffed animal she won at a game stand. Her stomach growled as she looks for a good food stand that sells for a cheap price. She found an unusual food she thought would taste good, so she skipped over there. There stood an old foreign couple who seemed to be from another country in Asia, selling what would be Vietnamese sub. She approached it as she sees not much was sold since people weren't familiar with the sandwich. "Ano... excuse me. Can I try a sub please?" She asked kindly, which the lady smiled and gave her one for 50 yen, which was cheap in her opinion. She took a bite as she continued to chew on it until she swallowed all of it. Her pink eyes sparkled as she looked bewildered at the couple who warmly chuckled at her reaction. "Wow! This is so good!!" She exclaimed loudly for people to stare at her in wonder at what she was eating.

The finished the rest of the sandwich and bought 10 more, while saving 2 for her companions, she obliviously left behind. She thanked the couple for the food as people were now starting to try the sandwich having the same reaction of happiness like her. She skipped away more happily while eating a sub she previously bought. She continued her journey for more thing to discover.

Back to the search parties...

The group continuously look for her, asking every stand if they saw her, but the same result was usually a shake in the head, that is, until they got hungry and coincidentally, the Viet sub stand Aether previously left, was nearby. They went to get a sub as the line died down. Leaving the duo left with the foreigners who gave them the sub while taking the coins. "Wow, this sandwich is good! No wonder people were crowding here." Kid said, surprised while Law nodded in agreement. "Ahhh, it wasn't popular 3 minutes ago, that is, until a beautiful young girl with blue and white clothing came here for one. My my, she was a cheerful and kind one, wasn't she dear?" The lady said as she looked to her husband who nodded in agreement.

The duo nearly choked their food mid bite as they heard a part of the sentence. They coughed a little as Law asked bewildered, "Wait... does she have White hair and color changing eyes?" The couple nodded, as the guyslooked at each other, wide eyes. "Where'd she headed to after she left!?" Kid asked quickly. "She headed to the souvenir market after buying 10 subs." The old man said while point to the west side of the carnival with a bunch of shops. The two quickly finished their food and thanked the two before quickly heading to find Aether. The couple looked at each other, chuckling a little bit, before saying, "Such an odd group of boys..."

Kid and Law jogged while looking for Aether until they saw her, but noticed she was holding a giant stuff teddy bear, buying some key chains. The guys sighed in relief, text the two gangs they found her as they replied with a sweatdropping happy face. The duo caught up with her as she turned to go somewhere else before she noticed them catching up to her. She grinned a waved as she walked up to them. "Kiddy! Lolly! I got you some stuff!" She said, childishly, as she jumped happily after finding her 2 companions. The guys sweat dropped as they wondered how an extreme genius can be so childish and oblivious to her surroundings.

Suddenly, her eyes drooped at little as she yawned adorably. With that said, the trio decided it was to go back to the hotel to sleep. Kid gave Aether a piggy back as she instantly fell asleep on his back. The guys chuckled silently as they went to their own rooms, right after they put Aether in her room before going to their shared one and sleeping in separate beds before leaving to Kyoto the next day.
