Pony and I haven't talked in three days. That's a new record for us. I mean we weren't close like Soda and I, but he is still my brother and I love him.
It was my night to do the dishes, dipping my hands into the hot water washing the plates and cups used at dinner.
Ponyboy walked into the kitchen placing a water bottle on the counter and left, saying nothing.
I know we are both in the wrong but I think he should apologize first. He hit me. That's not just something I can push aside.
Time skip-
I was sitting next to Soda on the couch Darry was upstairs talking to Pony about homework.
"You two need to make up. I am sick of it being silent in the house." Darry said walking downstairs.
"I'm not apologizing unless she does" Pony said following behind him.
The nerve of this kid. It's like he holds himself on a pedestal. He can do no wrong in his eyes.
"Both of you sit and talk now" Darry said making Pony sit on the coffee table in front of me.
"Fine whatever Ponyboy I'm sorry your girlfriend is a two faced b, and I'm sorry I had to be the one to tell her" I laughed. I caught angry glances all around.
"Oh my god. I'm sorry I fought with your girlfriend. I didn't mean to make you mad at me." I forced out.
I waited for him to say something back for what felt like an eternity. Soda playfully slapped him on the leg.
"I'm sorry I slapped you I shouldn't have done that. I didn't mean to hurt you." Pony said.
Darry looked at us not quite believing our "makeup".
"Hug each other" Soda said next to me. Pony and I got up awkwardly pulling each other in for a hug.
"There are we good to go now?" I asked wanting to go to my room and sleep.
"Yes, but if you two aren't talking tomorrow then I'm going to make you re- apologize." Darry said.
I wasted no time telling everyone goodnight and walking upstairs to my room. I knew Ponyboy was sorry but I don't know if I was ready to forgive him.
