Kyle's pov
6 AM
Just heard that the Harrisons are back in South Park, which kinda worries me about Gary. I know last time he ended his friendship with Stan, but what if he wants to give it another shot this time? I vividly remember Stan spending most of his time with Gary; sure, they can be friends again, but not like that! And they also looked like a couple... which doesn't matter, but it's pretty weird for me.
I glance out the window and spot the new Harrison house, and I can also see Gary on the sidewalk. "Ugh," is what I mutter when I see him. I close the curtain, grab my backpack to head to the bus stop. But before that, I leave my backpack on the couch and go grab some breakfast.
Stan's pov
Gary's back in town, and yeah, I was the first to know. Actually, we never stopped talking. I apologized to him about what happened, and since then, we've been messaging each other. No one knows about it, not even Kyle, because I didn't see a reason to go blabbing about it. Anyway, he gave me a heads up that he'd be back, and I admit I was excited and looking forward to it. He's gonna live really close to me, so we planned to go to the bus stop together. I'm heading out to meet him now. Got a message, and no surprise, it's from Gary.

– Okay!
Well, he said he lives on my street toward the bus stop, so it won't be hard to find him. I grab my backpack and skip breakfast.
Stan: "Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad!" I say while going down the stairs.
Randy: "See you, buddy!"
Sharon: "Stanley, did you even eat?" my mom says in a concerned yet slightly angry tone.
Stan: "Hm... not hungry. I eat at school," I say at the bottom of the stairs.
Sharon: "Break is only at 9:30, can you wait three hours to eat?"
Stan: "Yeah, Mom..."
Sharon: "If that's what you want, okay then. Have a good day, dear." She smiles at the end of the sentence, and I smile back.
I walk to the door and step outside. I think I see a guy sitting on the sidewalk by his house... must be Gary. I keep walking, and now I'm sure it's him. He waves as I get closer.
Gary: "Hey Stan!" he hugs me, a short and comforting hug.
Stan: "Hey man, long time..." I smile and pat his shoulder.
Gary: "Yeah, a few months passed, but you don't seem to have changed a bit, still cute." He smiles at me, his eyes closing when he does. I feel a bit embarrassed. Am I cute?
Stan: "Oh, well... haha..." I look away.
Gary: "Look, Stan, I brought these sandwiches for us. Figured you might not have eaten." He takes out two sandwiches wrapped in a napkin from his backpack.
