Episode 5-Don't It Just Break Your Heart

At the condemned property near the Salvatore School, Freya is with Hope and Faith... training.

"Okay, let's see what you girls can do." Freya said

"Okay." Hope and Faith said in unison.

Then Hope and Faith start climbing up the beams of the property. They turn to look down at Freya.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Hope said

Faith jumps on the wood railing and some other wooded stuff until she was on the ground again. Hope follows what Faith did.

"What do you think?" Faith asked

"I think I wish I had core muscles like yours." Freya said

"And that's nothing compared to what we'll be able to do once we trigger our werewolf side." Hope said

"Yeah. Um... Has your mom ever talked you girls through turning?" Freya said

"A little." Hope said

"And w-we have friends." Faith said

"I mean, the whole killing a human part sounds kind of rough, but..." Hope said

"What about the whole breaking every bone in your body part? You know, when your mom talked to me about it, when she, um, really described it, it sounded worse than almost anything I could imagine. And, honestly, it's... it's not what she wanted for you girls." Freya said

Hope and Faith catch Freya talking in past tense about Hayley and say. "Wants."

"Not what she wants for us." Hope said

"That's what I meant." Freya said

She looks at Hope and Faith worry before looking down.

Hope and Faith return to their room, they find Roman in there on Hope's bed.

"You girls should really lock your door. You know that, right?" Roman said

"Pretty sure we did, Roman." Faith said

"Okay. Well, then next time use a lock I can't pick. So what's the deal with you girls and your out-of-town visitors?" Roman said

"She's our aunt. And why do you care?" Faith said

"Hey, I'm just curious." Roman said

"Hmm." Hope and Faith said in unison.

"Hmm?" Roman said

"Why are you so interested in us?" Hope asked

"In truth?" Roman asked

"No, lie to us." Faith said sarcastically.

"Okay, Mikaelsons. Daughters of an Original, which is supposed to be impossible. Dad's a vampire, Mom's a werewolf, lineage of witches. I'm interested in your girls because... you girls are the most interesting." Roman said

"Other than you, of course." Faith said

"You girls don't know anything about me." Roman said

"Hmm, which is, I'm sure, exactly how you like it." Hope said

"Maybe." Roman said

"How about this? You tell us something about you, and we won't go to Alaric with breaking and entering." Faith said

Roman sighs and says. "I once pissed some people off and ended up desiccated in a cave."

"Desiccated?" Hope and Faith said in unison.

"Yeah." Roman said

"What was that like?" Hope asked

"It was... bad. But then the pain took over and... I just lost track of everything. Everything but time." Roman said

"How long were you in there?" Faith asked

"Long enough to replay the first pain-free 16 years of my life several times over before moving on to my 17th." Roman said

"An ancient bad boy vampire with a damaged soul." Hope said

"How positively..." Faith said

"Literally?" Roman said

"Cliché." Hope said

"Oh. Ouch." Roman said jokingly.

Hope and Faith chuckle then Hope smiles at him.

Hope and Faith walk into their room.

A few minutes later, they tell Freya that they want to bind themselves.

"It'll be painful." Freya said

"We don't care." Hope said

"You girls could die." Freya said

"Same answer." Faith said

"We're talking about snuffing out a fundamental part of who you girls are..." Freya said

Hope cuts her off as she says. "Which, as according to you, our mom never wanted us to trigger anyway."

"But which she wanted to be your decision." Freya said

"And we're making it." Hope said
