"Can I has juice?"
"Of course!"
Not good. Liam Stylin knew many (a few) things, one of the many (again, only a few) things he knew is that there was only one parent who gave juice willingly and it sure as heck wasn't Harry. Narrowing his suspicious chocolate eyes at the man who hurriedly twisted off the sippy cup pouring Liam's favorite sugary beverage in, he tightens the top extending it toward the hybrid with a smile, "Here baby,"
Taking the cup in his own hands, Liam raises an eyebrow in thought, the man had been too agreeable today for Liam's taste. He truthfully didn't even want the juice, he just thought he'd finally be told no.
It all started that morning.
> The Morning <
Shuffling into his parent's room per usual, Liam greets his Papa first by snuggling into him, offering his other daddies a simple wave.
After securing at least a solid ten-minute cuddle with his Papa, Liam glanced at Harry that remained sitting in bed watching the pair with a smile, "What does my baby want for breakfast?" The middle child hummed in thought, he hadn't been expecting the question as usually he was carried down for breakfast and whatever was made was served - Liam truthfully wasn't picky when it came to the first meal of the day as long as it was served on time.
"Pan-c-cakes?" Liam suggests with a hopeful grin, Harry gasps, "With chocolate chips?!" He adds to the suggestion bringing a giggle from Liam that excitedly nods, "Y-yah!" Pancakes with chocolate chips was Louis' favorite breakfast, if the older brother knew Liam had asked for it he'd be sure to be the favorite brother!
After all, he was still trying to re-establish that he was in fact the best brother after punching him. While he might've hit Louis, Max slobbered on Louis' red Power Ranger, and that was much worse. In Liam's opinion anyway.
Trailing his parents downstairs Liam expectantly heads toward the dining room with a passing glance at his trucks seeing them in the same place he'd left them the night prior. No crisis there.
"Why don't you play with trucks until we eat? I'll come get you," Harry offers ruffling the boy's hair, Liam perks up at the idea rushing toward his toys before he pauses looking back, "'o-otay?"
"Yes it's okay, Dada will go make your pancakes, you go play with trucks," Harry reassures, Liam squeals dropping to his knees and pushing his trucks around happily.
He never got to play with trucks first thing in the morning! His silly daddy always wanted them to spend the morning together in quietness before breakfast thinking about what they were grateful for - it was a New Years resolution Harry wanted to try out and so far had stuck to it, today being the first.
Liam's pushing his favorite dump truck around when it occurs to him that he's yet to hear from either brother today, or his Baba.
Not that he's entirely complaining about not hearing Max's big mouth, but he missed Louis.
Rising from his truck Liam starts toward the stairs peering up at them, "Bubba! L-Lou Lou!" he calls, Louis would never forgive him if he missed chocolate chip pancakes.
Zayn pops his head around the corner clearing his throat, "Pancakes are ready Bubba," Liam turns, "Lou?"
"Lou Lou's with Baba and Maxie today, it's just you, me, and Dada," Zayn informs, Liam's eyes widening as if his dream had finally come true. Minus the missing Louis part. Sometimes.
Not bothering to go into detail or offer anything further on the matter, Liam took the information at face value running to his chair to be served pancakes.
