Chapter 2

Next day morning.

Anirudh comes down to his room. Bondita is lying on the bare floor where her unpinned saree is lying down.

He looks at Bondita. Her words are still running in his mind. He went to her and covered her with blanket then proceeded to do his daily works.

After few hours, Bondita woke up and looks herself covered with blanket. She also looks at Anirudh who is in chair correcting his student's exam sheets.

She rose up from the ground and goes to bathroom without speaking anything to Anirudh. He looks at her with side eyes but then continues to proceed his paper correction.

After bath, she opened the bathroom and sneaked her head out, Anirudh understands it and walks out the room. She came out and dressed up in a normal pyjama and tshirt and went outside the room.

Everyone presented there starts teasing her and Anirudh. But they two didn't gave ears to it.

They then had breakfast and returned to their room.

In room.

Anirudh: I want to speak with you.

Bondita looks at him.

Anirudh: I have no idea of what is running in your mind. But I won't compel you to share it with me. Afterall, you hate me, don't you? Regarding what happened last night, I don't know why your father lied to you but I promise you, whatever I am going to say now is the only truth.

Bondita looks at him silently.

Anirudh: That afternoon we got a phone call from your family. They said you are okay with this marriage. On hearing it I was so happy to the heaven and hell. Because I...love you.

Bondita turned aside from him.

Anirudh: Whatever happened is happened. We can't change anything now. Just because I tied knot to you I'll never ask you to be my wife. I will also not touch you unless you start to love me. Your assumptions on my love for you is wrong. My love for you is just a love which can't be explained by words. You are my first love that made me blush. You are my first love that made me cry. You are my first love that made me feel like a man with purpose to live as well as a man with no brain. I wanted you to be on my side everytime, throughout my happiness and sorrows, throughout my life and death. I never wanted you to be on my bed only for lust just like you said yesterday.

Bondita turns to him.

Anirudh: I will also not compel you to fall for me. But remember one thing, my love for you will never be stopped. You take your time, I'll wait even if you want to me wait till my last breath.

He said and went to his chair and continues to correct the papers. Bondita looks on.

Days passed by, it's nearly one month from their marriage. Nothing has changed. Bondita is not talking to him as usual but his love and efforts never diminished.

They even don't sleep on the same bed. Anirudh sleeps on the floor whereas she sleeps on the bed.

On one day mid night, Bondita got her periods.

She couldn't sleep due to her cramps pain. Anirudh is sleeping on the floor. She couldn't control her pain. She starts to sob. By hearing her, Anirudh woke up.

Anirudh: Bondita...!

She wipes her tears and turned towards him.

Anirudh: What happened?

She nods no.

Anirudh rose up and sat beside her. Bondita too rose up and sat beside him.

Anirudh: What's wrong with you? Why are you crying?
