• While we welcome other genres as subgenres, your story's main genre must be Romance.
• Your story must be in English or Turkish.
• Your story must follow Wattpad's Content Guidelines.
• The contest runs from February 1, 2024, until June 1, 2024. The last day to submit your entry is June 1, 2024. Please keep in mind submissions may close if slots fill before the designated close date.
• Ongoing stories must be updated regularly (at least once a month).
• Results will be announced sometime between October - November 2024. These dates are approximate. The results will be released as soon as all the entries have been read and judged by our team. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding!
• We will accept 10 submissions for each category. We will post the lists of accepted entries in a separate chapter, so please review it to check if your entry has been accepted.
• We will only accept one story per username.
• If you have any questions, please send us a direct message. We ask that you provide us with 24 hours to respond, since our team members live in different time zones.
• The book may have any amount of votes. You can only enter one category/subcategory.
• Your story must have at least 10,000 words to enter this contest. We will not be accepting one-shots or poetry collections at this time. Author's Notes, Playlists, and any other parts of the story that are not a prologue, prelude, or a chapter directly related to the story's content are not counted towards the final word count.
• If you wish to withdraw at any point in the contest or update your submission details (such as username or story title), please complete this FORM to submit your official withdrawal. If you take down your story, change your story title, or username without informing us via the form, your entry will be considered a withdrawal. You are allowed to make changes to your book and username, but make sure to notify us promptly. We will not accept entry update requests via direct message.
• We are not accepting Wattpad Original stories for this contest. All chapters of your story must be free to read so that it is accessible to our judging team. However, you are welcome to enter your story into other contests while participating in Romance Reads 2024.
