Mama, I'm sure Sirius doesn't mean these things, you know what he is like! He goes through stages of d̶e̶p̶r̶e̶s̶s̶i̶o̶n̶ mood swings, it's actually common in teenagers!

Sirius wants everything to do this with family I promise, he doesn't really mean that. He doesn't want to leave me, he loves me and cares for me! I'm sure if we talk to him he'll change, maybe I could try?

I'm sorry he's hurting your feelings mama, I hope my letter finds you well, I promise to try and fix things with Sirius.

People are starting to make fun of me with the amount of letters I'm getting, Sirius claims you did do these things and have said you've said horrible stuff to him!

That potter boy, James, he is really nice, and really kind, it isn't him that's influencing Siri's behaviour, I swear.

Maybe you should talk to Sirius at Christmas? Maybe we'll come home with me this year! Wouldn't that be nice? All of the family together?

My boy, do you not see? He sends me horrible stuff about you, how he hates you, how he hates you being here, and how he hates you in Slytherin and how much he despises you and this family.

He is jealous, and rude and reckless and he doesn't like you, regulus, I'm sorry this must be hard you to hear, but he doesn't care, he really doesn't, he won't come home for Christmas, and you know it, he'll stay with the potters, I bet.
