They continued to sit in silence, trying to prepare for whatever the next chapter would show them.

The escape of the Brazilian boa constrictor earned Adhara her longest-ever punishment. By the time she was allowed out of her cupboard again, it was the middle of July (Dudley's birthday was June 16th) and Dudley had already broken most of his gifts.

Gasps echoed throughout the room.

"T - That long?" Euphemia stammered.

"They kept her in that cupboard for weeks!!" James hissed.

"She needs to get her letter quick and get as far away from that place as possible!" Sirius stated, almost pleadingly.

Regulus glanced at Kreacher. He slept in a cupboard ... granted it was a bigger cupboard than the Potter girl, but a cupboard nonetheless. Did he hate his cupboard? Maybe, he should sneak Kreacher into one of the spare rooms ...

Not to mention, the first time on his racing bike he knocked down old Mrs Figg as she crossed Privet Drive on her crutches.

"Poor old lady," Alice whispered.

"I'll say. First breaking her leg, and now that monstrous boy knocking her over." Marlene snorted, devoid of humor.

Adhara was disappointed school was over, there was no escaping Dudley's gang during summer as they visited the house every single day. Piers, Dennis, Malcolm and Gordon were all big and stupid, but as Dudley was the biggest and stupidest of the lot, he was the leader.

"What a way to pick a leader," Sneered Thaddeus.

That explains how Potter was chosen as leader of his little Marauders, Severus though bitterly.

The said Marauders tensed in anger, they may be pro - muggles, but they were anti - pricks!

"Seems we need to teach some boys how to properly treat a lady," Fabian growled out, twirling his wand with his fingers.

Gideon nodded his head, narrowing his eyes at the screen. "Indeed." He muttered, full of menace.

The rest of them were all quite happy to join in Dudley's favorite sport: Freak-Hunting!

James quickly got up out of his seat, and tried to launch at the book. His friends reluctantly holding him back.

"Sit down, Mr. Potter," McGonagall reprimanded softly. She understood why ... she wanted to attack the book herself, but that does not change the reality of what they were witnessing.

James huffed, glaring sharp daggers at the screen as he got back in his seat.

Aunt Petunia took Dudley to London to buy his Smeltings uniform, leaving Adhara at Mrs Figg's. Mrs Figg wasn't as bad as usual. It turned out she'd broken her leg tripping over one of her cats and she didn't seem quite as fond of them as before.
