Chapter 6: Proms, Proposals & Evelyn's Graduation

It's been about a couple of weeks since Bella got back from Phoenix and she is now wearing a boot instead of a cast. When she got back home, she blew up my phone stating how mad she was because I didn't come visit her in the hospital. She even went as far as to blame me for being grounded because apparently if I would've went with her, then dad wouldn't have been as harsh. Yeah, okay. Whatever you say Bella. 

*Flashback*

I'm sitting here at dad's house waiting for him to get back with Bella. I decided to tidy the house while I'm waiting. I was almost finished when I hear the car pull in the driveway. 

"Get in this house right now, Bella," Dad says calmly. 

Bella comes in the house and once dad shuts the door, he turned back toward Bella. She was on the 2nd step of the stairs when dad halted her. 

"Bella, you explain to me right now what happened. I didn't bother you on the way here because I knew you were tired and I let you sleep." Bella looks at me and rolls her eyes.

"Don't look at me. You're the one that ran off."

"NOW BELLA!" I jumped a little when dad yelled because it took me by surprise. He never yells, no matter what the situation or how bad it is.

"I told you. We had an argument, broke up and I left for Phoenix because I wanted to get out of here."

Before dad could say anything, I started to speak. "I call bullshit." They both whipped their heads toward me. 

"You say you had an argument and broke up, but yet him and his dad went to Phoenix to talk into you coming back."

"Yeah. So."

"Question is Bella...... how did they know you left? If it was me, I wouldn't have told my boyfriend that I was leaving because then he would have followed me." She glared at me, but didn't say anything. She knew what I was doing and that was me instigating. I love messing with her. 

"Is that true, Bella? DId you purposely tell Edward so he would follow you?"

All Bella did was sigh and nod her head. 

"I think it was more than that," I whispered under my breath. Dad must've heard me because he gave me a look that said stop.

"Evelyn, I know what you're trying to do so stop it now." He looks back at Bella. "And you? You are grounded for 2 weeks." Bella started to protest, but did put his hand up. Silencing her. 

"I don't want to hear it so go to your room right now." Bella grunted loudly and stomped up the stairs. Not long after, we hear her bedroom door shut.

*Flashback Ends*

I already don't want to be around a coven of 7 vampires so I don't know why she has it in her head that I do. What makes her think that I want to be on the run from one? I think she hit her head a little too hard and it made her delusional.

Tonight was the night of prom for both at Forks and La Push. The principal at Forks said even though I'm taking online courses, I can still attend if I wanted to since technically I'm still a student. I didn't want to go to Forks by myself so Paul asked me to be his plus one for the La Push prom. Also, I didn't want the Cullens seeing the ring that I'm wearing and figuring out that I'm engaged to the hothead of the pack. Yes I said ring because good ol'Pauly proposed to me. 

*Flashback*

I was sitting at home finishing up my last lesson for the day before I'm finally done with everything. Within a week, the principal will let me know what my final grade is and he said I could attend the graduation in person if I passed. Right when I finished up and started putting my things away, Paul walked through the door all happy.
