Prologue I: Another planet?

(A/N: I will be using mainly female pronouns but it can be read as male or nonbinary since I'll try not to be too focused on the gender But also I find it a little easier to write with this pronoun for this story. I am open to suggestions, tips and corrections which i really need if I'm gonna continue this story.)

Third person POV:
.."We're out of options" a pink man with a cape says as he returns to his seat
"But Lars! Your crew needs you!" [y/n]onnie exclaims
"Got any other options?"
"Captain Lars." They salutes "Permission to go in your place. If it's anything like driving a car I should be fine" said confidently
Lars's eyes gleam with excitement(?) "Permission...Granted! Take out the enemy's main cannons while we get our weapons and shields back online" He commanded as he sends [y/n]onnie down to his ship
"Fluorite, how long before we have full power to shields and weapons?"
"Give me.. fi-i-ve miinutes..." the big blue gem says in a slow tone

"Can they really fly it??!" "If anyone can fly it I'm sure it's friends of our Captain" crew mates chatter and voice their concerns as that said person descends down to the other ship.
[y/n]onnie plops down on the drivers "woah! This really is like a car!"

A hologram appears up front showing Lars and Parads(the yellow sapphire)

"Well watch your back while you take out those guns. Now launch!" "Captain Lars is about to give the order to launch." The screen disperses
"Ok. Launching." They said as the ship launches towards the the enemy's ship swiftly dodging its attacks

"Get close! They can't aim at themselves." Lars commanded

"Roger. Target is within range! Targeting." [y/n]onnie shoots down the enemy's main cannons

"One down! That's two! Yes! Alright, everything is fixed here come one back!"
"Incoming missiles straight ahead!"

[y/n]onnie looks as missiles start to explode infront of their ship
"It's too late Lars I can't—" one of the missile's explosions blasts the ship down crashing
"AHHH—"
"[y/n]? Connie?!! NOOO!!!"
[y/n] felt disconnected from Connie as they crashed down.

"Ugghhh...my head" [y/n] tries to sit up but was faced with a wooden door(?)
"Ouch! What was that?!" She feels around the material around trying to get a grasp of her surrounding "am I...IN A COFFIN?!!"

[y/n] tries to push the lid open but it's...heavy? "Come one! Super strength goooo!!" Her gem faintly glows but doesn't last long
"What?! Why aren't you working??" She was about to life her shirt up when she starts to realize her clothes
"Are these—" "gotta hurry and find that  uniform before I get caught!" "Huh?"

"Urgggh! This lid weighs a ton! Try this on for size! Mya-ha!!" Who is that?? Flames start to engulf the coffin "Ah!? B-blue fire?!" [y/n] bangs on the lid trying to budge it before it suddenly lifts up. She is met with a gray cat(?)..rat...dog?...whatever animal it is

"Time to grab the goods—Wait, you aren't supposed to be awake?!?" The cat(?) said
"A fire breathing cat??" She sounded confused but quite thrilled "I ain't no cat! I am the extraordinary mage Grim!" Grim puts his paws on his hips
