Chapter 9: List number 2! Check!

List number 2! Check!

The Daughters POV

"Here's comes the airplane! Weeeeeh!"

Napasimangot ako habang tinitingnan si Leo na hawak ang isang mangkok na puno nang soup at ginagawang airplane ang kutsara bago itapat sa bibig ko kaya kunwaring labag sa loob kong isinubo iyon.

"The plane has already landed on the brat's mouth"

Napahawak ako sa bibig at muntik nang humagalpak nang tawa dahil sa sinabi ni Leo.

The fuck!

It's already 10:32 in the evening but Leo is still here and taking care of me. I actually have a fever right now but I still can eat without any help but here comes Leo treating me like i was some kind of grandma.

"Another plane wanted to land now" I totally rolled my eyes and shake my head while looking at him caused him to stop.

"I'm already full" I said.

Leo nod before putting the soup on the tray and gave me some water. I just sip a bit and gave it to him before drinking the med and lay down on the bed.

"Do you want me to sing lullaby for you?"

I almost laugh because of what Leo said but I just stopped myself. "Oh please Don't! You might have gave some nightmare" I bluffed and smile. He just nod a little bit before fixing my comforter that made me closed my eyes.

"Where's the rolling pin?" I asked and looked at Leo who's now wearing a pink apron while examining the whole table.

"Here"

Agad niyang kinuha ang rolling pin na malayo sa akin at kaagad yung binigay. I just nod and looked at him while I'm already holding it.

"What am I supposed to do now?" I asked innocently.

"Roll it" he said and I just nod.

Nakapatong sa isang malapad na board ang dough na ginawa ko, nasa itaas naman nito ang harina habang hawak ko ang rolling pin. I pour some flour on the dough and sigh before doing it.

"C-chloe wai–"

O..my..gosh!

I swallowed hard before coughing while my hands are trembling in pissed. Well, I'm look actually a ghost now!

Sa ginawa kong pagdiin nang rolling pin sa dough ay siyang pag angat nang board dahilan para sumalpok sa mukha ko ang harina at ito ang kinahantungan ko.

"Leo!" I looked at Leo who's now pretending to be shock that made me to be more in pissed. "Why didn't you tell me?!" Tanong ko sabay bitaw sa rolling pin.

"I did! But it was already too late" he said that made me closed my eyes in pissed.

"But you really looked like a ghost" I opened my eyes just to see him laughing at me that made me rolled my eyes on him.

"A beautiful ghost" I said before flipping my hair that made me cough because of the flour.

"Yeah! A ghost that is full of flour"

He burst in laugh again that made me glare at him but he didn't stop that's why I examine the whole table and looked at the Cocoa Powder and took it before pouring it to the hair and to the face of Leo that made him stop and caused me to be in laugh.

Tinawanan ko lang siya nang tinawanan nang bigla kong maramdaman ang pagbuhos niya sa akin nang powder dahilan para siya naman ang tumawa habang ako ay blangko siyang tiningnan at hinawakan ang buhok ko dahilan para lumaglag ang maraming powder.

Hmm! I won't let him win!

Mabilis kong kinuha ang isang tray nang itlog at nilingon siya.

"Leo look!" I call his attention that made him look to me that's why I formed my lips into smile and threw him the eggs.

"W-wait Chloe stop–" he plead that made me laugh but I was shock when I felt something hit my forehead until the egg yolk land downward my face.

"Leo stop!" I said but he didn't listen. Instead, he threw some more eggs on me that made me laugh and took my chance for revenge.

Kalaunan ay natagpuan namin ang sarili namin na tumatawa habang nagbabatuhan nang itlog sa kusina. The whole kitchen is in mess even us! But we both didn't care and just play inside the kitchen like we're some kind of kids that playing even if we're really dirty.

"How was it?" I asked while I'm waiting for Leo's reaction on the food that I cook.

This is my first time cooking and Leo taught me how to do it that's why I'm already nervous by his reaction.

"Hmm.." I creased my forehead when he just humm.

"Hmm?" I asked and mocked him.

"Pwede na.." ani niya kaya napa kunot ako nang noo.

"Anong pwede na? Hindi ba masarap?" Tanong ko.

"Well, it reach my standard. Hindi ko lang alam kung ganoon din sa iba" paliwanag niya kaya kinuha ko ang kutsara ko at tinikman ang niluto kong Kaldereta.

"Masarap naman ah!" Ani ko at umulit pa nang tikim bago tumango tango. "Masarap nga!" Ani ko at nilingon siya na ngayon ay Naka kunot ang noo sa akin.

"Luto mo yan! Talagang masarap para sayo yan!" Asik niya kaya inirapan ko nalang siya at mabilis na umupo.

"Well, if you don't wanna eat, then don't!" Ani ko at nagsimula muling kumain. I heard how he sigh and look at me.

"I didn't say that I don't wanna eat" he said that made me creased my forehead and laugh a bit.

"Just admit it! Alam ko namang masarap!" Pagmamalaki ko pa pero hindi siya sumagot at tinawanan lang ako dahilan para matawa narin ako.

And we enjoy that evening where we both eat dinner together.

I think I need to check something..

Mabilis akong pumasok at ni lock ang pintuan bago lumapit sa drawer ko. I open it and took out of it my diary. I sat down on the bed and started to flip the pages to my bucket list.

Nang mahanap ko yun ay mabilis kong kinuha ang red ballpen ko at naglagay nang check roon.

✓ Dad should send me to school
✓ We should eat dinner together

Two down. Five more to go!
