°Chapter 2°

Calum.

"What are you doing here?!" He screams wiping his face quickly.

"I just need to stay here a few nights-- wait why are you crying?" I asked concerned.

"Y-you don't know?" He asks me looking surprised. I shake my head confused. "Your friends are spreading rumors about me saying that I'd 'be open' to any guy who asked." He sobbed sitting on the bed. I wrapped an arm around him and he flinched.

"I'm so sorry. I had no idea about that I swear, I would've stopped them." I told him honestly. "Why would you even try and help me and sorry doesn't fix anything I'm so humiliated." He said putting his face in his hands. "I should have never kissed Dean on the first date." He whispered.

That confused me. 1) Dean has a girlfriend. 2) He's straight. And 3) I didn't hear anything about this...

"Luke...?" I say grabbing his attention."what?" He snapped in response. "Dean has a girlfriend... And he's straight." He looks up at me with wide eyes and his lips parted.

"Do you think they set me up?" He asked looking me straight in the eyes. "Did dean ask you out?" I asked, he nodded. "Did Dean kiss you?" I asked, He nodded. "Did he grab you any where?" I ask my jaw clenching. "He grabbed my ass and I let out an embarrassingly loud moan." He said shyly looking embarrassed.

They set him up... But why so terrible like that. Everyone knows Luke is a virgin, so any intimate touches will make him weak... What did they expect?

"Don't listen to what anyone tells you okay? You're amazing and they set you up definitely." I told him. "Why do you care?" He asked not being rude just curious. "Because, um, I just can't believe someone could do that to you." I tell him honestly.

He looks at me with those beautiful ocean blue eyes now ruined with red surrounding it. "Thank you..." He tells me. I just nod. "If you want to stay here its fine but you can also stay at my house." He suggests shyly. I shake my head. "I'd rather stay here don't want to be interrogated by anyone for why I'm not at my house..." I tell him trailing off. He nods understanding.

"Well thanks for listening but I have to get back before my mother comes to find me and well, you too I guess." He tells me getting ready to leave. I nod smiling.

But then an idea occurs to me. Here's my chance to try and get him. "Or..." I say making him stop at the doorway and turn to look at me. "You can stay with me for the night." I suggest with a hopeful smile. He looks at me with wide eyes and blushing cheeks. "I, uh, don't think that's a good idea... I have really bad trust issues right now." He tells me sadly.

I understand how that feels, I mean he just got messed with because he's a virgin and people are using that against him just to mess with him. So I nod letting him know that it's okay.

"Will you come back tomorrow?" I ask him. He nods smiling at me. "If you want me to?" He asks. "Yea" I say happily. He smiles and turns around and leaves the room.

When I hear the door slam shut throw myself on the bed, a happy sigh leaving my lips. I'm definitely gonna get this boy and I don't care what anyone says.

I think running away was the best choice ever. But right now I need to text Michael.

What's up with me not knowing that you were gonna mess with the Hemmings kid.

I didn't really think of Luke as the 'Hemmings kid' but that's the only thing my friends knew him as.

What? We didn't mess with him that was all dean and the guys I had nothing to do with it.

I look at the text confused. Michael is usually the one telling the guys to mess with Luke and I'm just there to keep Michael in check and vice versa. Me and Michael are kinda like the leaders and they're the followers, sad but true. The only thing the do is follow me and Mikey around and do as we ask.

Whatever, I'll keep Luke safe... I thought too tired at the moment as I drifted to sleep.
