A\N: I've always loved The Good Wife and the relationship between Alicia and Will and I wish they had told each other they loved each other before his death and that he had survived so that they could've gotten back together but they didn't. It killed me when Will was killed

Here is my first sad, fluffy Willicia oneshot after Will's death. Enjoy Angels.

The sun is shining through the gap in the curtains as Alicia Gardner is awoken by her husband, Will Gardner. She chuckles sleepily as she's covered in kisses.

"Good morning, Mrs Gardner." Her husband says softly. Alicia's lips curve into a sleepy smile as she sits up.

"Good morning Mr Gardner." Alicia says as she kisses her husband deeply. She wraps her arms around his neck once she's broken the kiss and hugs him, holding him as tightly as she can. "Hey, Leesh, I'm fine." Her husband says.

After he was shot in court, it made both of them realise how short life can be. While in his coma and during his recovery, Alicia never left Will's side, staying in his hospital  room, holding his hand, staring at his unconscious form, silently begging him to wake up, never leaving his side and it was only when she was forced to leave to shower and eat something by Diane and her kids that she did reluctant leave Will's side, her phone in her hand and  her heart in her throat. Every second she was away from his side, was one second she was petrified she would lose the love of her life.

After Will woke up from his coma, after two weeks, she never strayed from his sight and when he was finally released from the hospital she moved in with him to help him, Zach and Grace coming over every week they weren't with Peter, Alicia found herself falling in love with him all over again. It wasn't long before Will, in the spur of the moment, proposed to her, promising her to love her until the Earth stopped spinning. She had accepted his proposal and they were married 2 months later.

Alicia pulls away from her husband and stares into his eyes which are full of love for her. "I came so close to losing you, Will." She chokes out as tears fill her eyes at the thought of the bullet killing her husband. "God, Will." Alicia says. She was so focused on helping him recover then the wedding and both of them returning to their jobs, she hasn't had a chance to grieve for the fact that she could have lost him.

"Hey, hey, come here." Will moves to sit beside her, pulling her into his arms. Alicia buries her face into his shoulder and sobs, her body shaking with the force of them as her husband comforts her.

"I'm okay, I'm here, I'm safe, I love you." Will says softly as he kisses her hair. The sobs stop almost immediately after they begin but neither Alicia nor her husband break their hug.

"I'll love you forever." Alicia says, her voice still thick with tears. She hears Will chuckle.

"I'm okay with that." Her husband replies with a smile in his voice.

Alicia wakes with tears streaming down her face. It was just a dream. Her mind tells her as she stares at the photo she has of her and Will on her nightstand.

Since Will's death, she's been plagued with these dreams where he survived the gunshot to his neck and they told each other how they still felt about each other before resuming their relationship. Only when she wakes up, the dreams of her and Will, the dreams of the life they could have had, are just that, dreams. They didn't happen: he's dead and she's still grieving for him. Will died without knowing that she still loved him with everything in her entire  body. She loved him more than she loved Peter, more than anyone else. She wishes she told Will she loved him before his death, regardless of his feelings towards her. Maybe if she had told him, it'd would've given something to hold onto, or at least until the paramedics came to help him. Since his death, she's been living with the knowledge that she's partly responsible for her love's death.

"I'll love you forever." She whispers to their photo, her eyes on her love.

"I'm okay with that." Will's voice echoes in her head.

She, Alicia Florrick, will love Will Gardner forever.
