Hugo

Hugo opened the trapdoor to his room and let Estelle inside first, him going after her and closing the trapdoor. Hugo took his mother's old room and made it into his own little comfy space. His older brother Louis shared the room with Hugo and their younger sister Emma slept with their parents.

Instead of buying a new house, Hugo and his family decided to move into Marinette's childhood house with his grandparents and live there. Even though the building is quite small for a family of 7, they're all comfortable and happy to be together.

Plus, Hugo and his siblings don't have to pay for all the delicious pastries that his grandparents sell in their bakery, which after all these years is still as famous as it was before and with the help of the whole family, buisness is going better.

He noticed Estelle looking around his room and by the face she had, she seemed to like the look of his room. Hugo sat down infront of his desk and took out a box of tools from under the desk to repair Estelle's phone. Estelle sat down on the chair next to him.

When him and Estelle entered the bakery, Marinette was there. She agreed to give Estelle an autograph and also take a picture together, she was absolutly ecstatic to meet her idol face to face. It made Hugo smile and feel warm inside that he gave Estelle this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Estelle gave Hugo her phone and he started getting to work. After a while of silence he heard Estelle ask him a question.

'You used to live in New York?'

He paused his work and looked at her and then at the loads of pictures hung up on the wall of his life in New York. He resumed his work and talked to Estelle at the same time.

'Yeah, lived there for 2 years and then we moved back here.'

'Why did you move there and then back here?'

Hugo thought wether to tell her the real reason why they moved to New York or lie. The real reason they moved to New York happened 2 years ago when Hugo and Louis fought against Scarwing as Onyx and Vulpix. Hugo was the holder of the Cat Miraculous which made him Onyx and Louis was the holder of the Fox Miraculous which made him Vulpix.

During the battle, Onyx and Vulpix both had a great plan to defeat Scarwing but it all came crashing down when Lady Blossom fell into Scarwing's trap and he managed to steal the Miracle Box. Scarwing manipulated Lady Blossom telling her that he changed for the better and she believed him. It caused another hero from their team to unfortunately pass away.

The remaining heroes were furious at Lady Blossom for being so gullible, including Vulpix who absolutely despises Lady Blossom as because of her, his best friend died who was the same hero that sacrificed herself. Hugo blamed her at first but then he learned to forgive and forget, Scarwing was a manipulative and smart asshole. Who knows if he used his Miraculous on Lady Blossom to snatch the Miracle Box.

After the battle, Louis gave up his Miraculous to Marinette, who is still the Guardian of the Miracle Box. Hugo kept his but when the hate from the people started pouring in, he couldn't deal with it and gave up his Miraculous too. There have been no more attacks ever since and both of them moved on with their lives.

Marinette and Adrien were too afraid of their children being in anymore danger so they moved to New York a week after the battle and continued their lives there.

Hugo felt upset that he couldn't meet Lady Blossom again and tell her that he doesn't hate her, that he forgives her, that he misses her. Marinette never got the Ladybug Miraculous back after the battle so Lady Blossom must still have it with her.

'My mum's job made us move, she got a contract and we had to move. New York was good but we preferred to be here so we moved back, her job is still as it was in New York.'

It wasn't a lie, Marinette got a contract in New York to work as a famous celebrity's fashion designer and also show off her own designs in the New York fashion week.

Hugo put away his tools and handed Estelle her phone back which now had a brand new screen.

'Thank you!'

Estelle stood up and put her bag over her shoulder.

'I better go now, my mums are probably worried about where I am'

Hugo nodded with a smile but deep down, he wished she'd stay a bit more.

'Want to go out for ice cream tomorrow? It's on me for fixing my phone.'

'Sure. After school?'

Estelle nodded. They said goodbye and she left. A few seconds later Louis; a tall guy with long loose braided dark blue hair, small square glasses and a resting face, entered the room through the trapdoor holding a tray of freshly baked croissants, him already eating one.

Louis put the tray on the desk next to Hugo and layed down on his bed next to the window. Hugo picked up a croissant and took a bite.

'Who was that girl?'

'Estelle, a girl from my class. She came over so that I could fix her phone.'

'Soon to be girlfriend huh?'

Hugo blushed and didn't reply to the question, him knowing Louis is only teasing him. He does this with every girl is with, girlfriend or not. It always pissed Hugo off but this time, he didn't care.

'Y'know who she reminds me of?'

Hugo stared at Louis with a curious look.

'Lady Blossom.'

Hugo nearly choked on his croissant at the name of the person he thought he'd never hear the name of again.

'The fuck made you think that?'

Louis sat up on the bed, his knees apart and his hands resting on them, making him lean forward with a hunched back.

'First of all, language. Second of all, you didn't notice? Long black hair like hers, same color eyes like hers, same height, posture, figure and face. Just remove the mask in your mind and imagine the face without it. They look exactly identical.'

Hugo stayed silent. He pictureed Lady Blossom's face in his mind and then pictureed her without the mask and the possibility is there, he could see it.

'How do you remember that much about Lady Blossom? Last time we saw her was 2 years ago.'

'You think I'm gonna forget the bitch that killed my best friend? No way, she needs to pay for what she did one day and if anything bad happens to her, I'll be the cause of it.'

'You're still on about that? Can't you just forgive and forget? You can't change the past.'

'But I can change the future and I'll make sure that polka-dot mother fucker dies an agonizing death. Laura was like a sister to me, aside from Emma. You guys liked her too! We were friends ever since we were little brats and now the only way I can see her is on a photo. You gotta understand me from some perspective lil bro.'

Hugo didn't want to continue this conversation so he stayed quiet and Louis didn't say anything else.

He couldn't sleep for ages because the thought of Estelle being Lady Blossom couldn't leave his head. The more Hugo thought of it, the more it made sence. They both looked so alike except one was a normal beautiful girl and the other was a hero with a costume and a mask.
