The leaves start falling. It's november now and the comeback is in two days days. And I still didn't talk with mom. Christopher keeps asking me for that damn paper. At todays practise I promised him I'll give it to him.
But mom have a night shift. So I need to do it tomorow.
On friday he gave me last chance. Tomorow we'll have last practise before it'll all start.
I came home but mom wasn't in a good mood. But I didn't have any other choice. I found that paper and put it on the table.
' sigh it please' I said nicely.
' what is it?' she asked.
' something for the tours' I said.
' I'll read it and than decide. Sit down' She said.
I was sitting and I wasn't even breathing. When she pointed her eyebrow and looked at me I knew what part she just read.
' so young lady, what are you thinking about yourself. You think you can just come here and say sigh it without asking? This is very big deal and you'll not miss this much school end of discusion' She put that paper back on a table and went to kitchen. I went after her.
' mom please, mom I'll do everything. Do you realise what this mean to me? This have meaning for me it's part of me'
' Lily, I said no. You need to finish high school and go to collage. I know this is your hobby but hobbys should not disscub school. You are on private school, you wanted there' She said.
' No, I didn't. You wanted me to go there nobody pleased you to pay for my high school. If I was in normal school everything would be better I would have more time for things I love!'
' stop reasing your voice on me, Lily I don't like it'
' and I don't like how you think that I'll be a doctor. Yeah, I know Charlotte didn't studied collage and she dissapointed you but so I. After I graduate I will go to work mom I won't be a nurse like you' I said it how it was. Her face change from normal anger to very big anger. She pointed on door.
' I don't want to see you anymore today. Go somewhere else' She said calmly but her eyes were full of anger.
' fine. I'll sleep at Sae-seo's place' I said.
I grabbed my phone and jacket and went outside.
I called Sae-seo and sat on a bench.
' Lily?' She said.
' hey, can I sleep at your place today?' I asked.
' I can't today Lily sorry I sleep at Yiesa's place' my heart dropped. What should I do now?
' yeah, that's okay enjoy' I said and hang up.
I'm lost. I can't go back before mom calm down. I went to my contacts and looked at them. There is nobody who can help me.
I stopped at one contact. It's crazy I can't just call him. But at this moment it feels like a right thing. I called Christopher.
I was about to hang up because I realized how crazy it is but in that moment I head his voice.
' hello?' He said. I fucked up. This is a bad idea.
' hello, Mr Poreth this is Lily'
' yeah, I know. What do you need?' He asked.
' it sound very bad' I said.
' well?'
' I had a fight with my mom.. and my friend isn't at home and I don't have place to go.. sorry this is bad idea, but I tried' I huged my legs.
' Wait you are out in that cold?' He asked scared.
' it's not that cold' I said. ' so can I?' I didn't want to end the question.
'yeah, of course where can I pick you up?' He asked.
'nowhere, I'll walk' I said.
I was thinking about my convesation with mom. I know she just want a good future for me but she wanted to be nurse. She was a favorite child because of it. But she didn't get kids she wanted.
I was standing before the building. I felt bad. For everything.
I sent a text that I'm here and he text me to go by back door.
I didn't know there was a back door but there is. They are unlock. He text that he is in fift floor. I get in elevater snd went up.
There is long hall and lot of doors. But I saw Chris name on the first one. I gently knoked and he opened.
' hi' He said.
' hello' I said.
' come inside' I went inside.
I wanted to take off my shoes and than I saw a lot of shoes on the floor.
' I really don't wanna border' I said
' I won't let you go in that cold' He said.
I took off my shoes and he opened door to their dorm.
It's very modern and pretty. It's not that big as I thought. There is a lot of mess on kitchen desk. It looks like they don't cook often.
' sorry, we usually clean everyday but today is very full and we don't have time' He said.
' I don't mind' I said.
' Okay, than.. sit where you want' He smiled.
Why is he so sweet. It's so relaxing just being in one room with him. Sudenlly all the stress about mom is gone. But I still feel weigh on my chest.
' do you want something to eat? We have still some food left. And it's still warm' He smiled.
' yeah, that's sounds good thank you'.
I sat on sofa and he gave me food.
He leaned against kitchen desk.
' do you wanna talk about what happend with your mom?' He asked.
Why does he care so much. It's not like I don't like it but he cares like we are close.
' it's because of that paper' I said and my voice broke. I was trying not to cry but it was stronger than me.
' mom won't sigh it' I laughed because I was exauhsted.
' I'm really sorry, Lily that must be terrible' He sat next to me on the sofa.
' I really thought she will sigh it. But I was naive' one little tear dropped on my cheek.
' sorry' I said, wipe it and start eating.
' Lily, listen to me' I tried ignore him but he grabed my head and force me to look at him.
' this isn't the only way to dance. You are talented, everybody in the groop is but you have potential, you give everything to it I can see it, you stay there everyday and you give everything to it. You go home exauhsted, you can go home after practise but you don't. You remimed me of me when I was trainee. You are doing enough, Lily and I'm very proud of you'
His words stucked in my ears. He said what I needed to hear. All the years this is all I needed. If I just may hug him. I wanna thank him but I lost words.
I smiled and open my mouth to say something but couldn't talk without crying.
' you don't need to say anything' He smiled and stood up.
' I'll give you clean blanket to my bedroom' He said.
' no, I'll sleep here you can sleep in your room' I said.
' this sofa isn't very confortable, you'll have back pain'
' yeah I don't care I can't sleep in your room that's your privacy' I said determibed.
' Okay, it's your decision' He smiled.
He came out od his room with pillow blanked and towel.
' if you can't sleep at the night you can come to my room. The bed is big enough. Leo will propably came after midnight and he is loud so don't be scared'
' I'll be good' I said.
' will you excuse me? I need to work' he asked.
' yes, of course' I said.
It's a really pretty aparmant. The view is also pretty. I see skyscrapers and people on the street. From our house we see just another house.
I thought nobody is here but sudenlly Sen-am came from one of the rooms.
' oh, hello' He said.
' hello' I said surprised.
' should I ask why are you here and who are you?' He asked and give dirty dishes on a kitchen desk.
' I'm going to sleep here tonight' He looks very surprise.
' are you Chris's lover? No that would not give a sence' He said more to himself.
' I'm one of the backup dancers' I said.
' Okay, than good night' he smiled and went back to his room.
