The event : part 1

Enzo pov

I know what you're thinking I messed up badly and I can admit that. It was wrong for me to assume that she was two timing me . I just lose it when I think of Nia with anyone else .

It's been about 3 days right now and she refuses to speak to me . And I can't lie it's sending me over the edge . She pretends like I don't exist and only speaks to me when it's work related .

Makes me wanna pull my hair out

I was seated by my desk trying to focus on the words on my computer when a knock sounded on the door . Lifting my head up Nias head peeked through the door .

" there's someone here to see you Mr Romano " and she stepped out before I could ask her who .

Stepping out of my office I come across the Columbian mafia dons Felipe Velazquez.

" Felipe what brings you here ? " he grins at me

" well my dear friend since I was still in the city I thought I could formally invite you to an event I'm hosting in Columbia"

" what event?" I say with my eyebrows furrowed

" shall we step into your office ?" I looked over to Nia and saw her typing away at her computer not even paying mind to us but I didn't want to take the risk of her over hearing us "

Opening my door I gestured him inside the office and we both sat on the couch.

" well my friend I didn't know that your assistant would be such a beauty but she looks oddly familiar "

I gritted my teeth at him pretending not to know

"Ah I remember she's Dimitri's so called wife . I wonder what he would do if he finds out she's been right under his nose"

" Felipe she's not his wife " he looked back at me eyebrows furrowed

" what do you mean ?"

Letting out a breath I looked back at him " it's not my story to tell but I'll call her in so she can explain herself Felipe "

Standing up I stepped out of my office and approached Nia's desk .

"Nia "

She ignored me and continued typing
. I sighed
" Nia I would like if you stepped into my office we need to talk about Dimitri " her head snapped up and her fingers paused on the keyboard shaking a little . She nodded her head and stood up as we went back to my office .

She went to sit on the couch next to Felipe while I stood .

Shaking his hand they introduced each other and Nia began narrating the story of her encounter with Dimitri. Every detail I wanted to stab a knife into his chest . Everytime she stopped to take a breath I wanted to shoot him in the head . When she was finished. I wanted Dimitri's head on a stick .

I wasn't the only one who was visibly angry . Felipe was fuming. You the Columbian mafia was made up of mainly women. Felipe was the second boy of six sisters and his mother was the strongest Donna to ever live teaching her sons to be merciless while respecting women and protect the innocent .
