Zukka Chapter 2

~ Zuko's POV ~

When I woke up, I was still in Sokka's arms. Feeling a little embarrassed I said sorry if I was being annoying.

"No not at all, you are kinda cute when you sleep," he said, blushing. "I mean.. Like.. Funny cute," he tried to cover up

"Thanks," I said, blushing and smiling.

"We're landing, you guys," Aang yelled, waking everybody up.

"Toph, Suki, you guys set up camp; Katara and I will get some water; Zuko, you and Sokka go get some fire wood," Aang said after we landed. Sokka and I walked off and it was quiet for a second.. But not awkward quiet, it was a nice kind of quiet.

"So, sorry again about Azula," he said

"It's fine.. I'm used to fighting with her," I said, thinking back to all the times we have fought, but it was never as bad as it was today.

"Wait, Sokka. I need to talk to you," I said. I walked over to him, and kissed him. I can't believe I was doing this. It was amazing but I couldn't tell if he liked it or not. "Sorry," I said, completely horrified I just did that. Sokka was blushing redder than the sunset.

"Um.. Umm.. It's ok," he smiled. He was so cute.

"Um. We should probably get back to camp," I smiled at him. We walked back, again, in silence, but it was nice.

"What took so long??" Aang questioned

"Sorry, we couldn't find any wood," Sokka said.

"Ok, well dinner is ready" Katara said. Dinner was loud, like usiual. Except Sokka, usiually the loud one, was very quiet.

After dinner, everyone was out sitting by the fire... except me and Sokka.. Later that night, I couldn't sleep so I decided to go on a walk on the beach. But guess who else did? Sokka! Oh god, what if he was mad at me about today

"H-hey" I said

"Oh, hey.." He turned around "so about today" he started

"- don't worry about it, it won't happen again," I said, embarrassed

"No, I was going to say, it wasn't bad actually," he blushed "I actually kind of liked it,"

By that point we were face to face again, and just like that, I kissed him. It was warm, and nice. Eventually, he backed away

"I'm sorry," I said

"No, no it's fine, really, it's just that I should probably go to bed now, it's late.. But we should do this again," Sokka smiled and walked away.
