annalise was born into a tight knit family of her parents, her older sister and eventually her younger sister. her father met her mother when he was studying in america during his university years and the two fell in love immediately. despite him living in france and her in america, they made it work until louis decided to make the move out to america to live with stacey and they were quickly settled down, working, married and welcoming their first daughter. annalise was fairly shy and quiet growing up, always leaning on her mom or her sisters for support in social situations which is why it surprised everyone when she took an interest in ice skating. her grandmother took her to a local rink one day and the minute annalise began gliding along the ice she knew it was what she wanted to do. she put all her focus on skating during her high school years, working her butt off to get herself a spot in one of the best athletic colleges in the country.
