To Alfea

Waking up I looked around my room very groggy. Before I could process what was going on my mother burst into my room. "Lina get up, it's time for you to go to ALFEA COLLEGE!!!!!" Leaning on my wall blinking my eyes I looked at her.

She walked over and sat on my bed. "Maybe I shouldn't go Mom,I have to help you," my mother scoffed at me and rolled her eyes as she grabbed my hands and brought them into her lap. "Honey you are already starting 2 weeks late, because I got really sick, and I'm better now, and you can always visit me, Magix is a hope skip and a jump from Alfea and Flora is going to be there with you, so you'll be fine," I smiled remembering my Lymphea bestie being my roommate.

"Yeah I know, but you know I'm shy a-and-" my mother stopped me. "You a strong girl, you powers will grow, you are destine for greatness my precious gem." I teared up a little and hugged my mother close. She soon left and I got ready. Looking around my room I saw my boxes and bags ready to go. I looked at the pile of clothes that didn't fit on my desk, and I remembered that I needed to buy another suitcase. Grabbing my purse I walked out the door, not before yelling to my mother where I was going.

Walking to the strip of stores I walked around. Going to the bag store and looked around. I saw this cute duffle that would work perfectly and I picked it up and walked to counter.

I couldn't help but groan at this girl. "Ramona we can't be together anymore why can't you understand that," but she stomped in front of my and crossed her arms pushing up her chest. "Baxy we are meant to be, you know you love me." She stroked my chest as she grinned. "I gotta focus, Red Fountain is going to be giving me responsibility as a team leader, we aren't meant to be."

I walked away from her as she began to cry. Walking to a nearby smoothie stand I ordered my favorite and began to walk around the mall when I saw something that sent me into a coughing fit. This gorgeous bluenette, walking with a bag in her hand I was in a trance. Walking towards her I saw her beautiful eyes, that I wish I could get a closer look.

Then my senses caught up to me and I halted in my steps. I was confused on my sudden interaction. The thought of the girl enticed me but I ignored it and made my way back to my bike. I never fall for anyone, I'm not like that, the thought made me chuckle.

"Do you have everything?" I smiled at my mothers worry and excitement. "Yes," she brought me in for a hug and she held me tight by the door. "You sure you don't want me to come with," I smiled at her as I looked to my mini bags on the table that my mom shrieked.

"I have to do this myself, I'll be fine and call you when I get there." So after my final goodbye, my mom had told me one final thing that will always be with me 'Have courage and be kind.' And with that I made my way to the train to Alfea. I took my seat and looked at the picture on my phone of my mother and I, a tear rolled down my face, but I'd see her soon.

I had my bags in my hands as I stood outside of the legendary Alfea college. I then heard a squeal and I looked towards the sound. Insight was her best friend Flora sprinting to her.

"Flora!!"

"Alina!!!"

I smiled as I ran towards her, my best friend. "Oh I've missed you flower power." I laughed as we hugged and she did too. "I'm so happy you're finally here, now lets grab you bags and get to our room!!" she squealed to me and I laughed.

Before we made it to our room, Griselda the rule enforcer did. "Ah, Alina glad you are here, hope your mother is well, I have a couple things to tell you, first things first, our code of behavior: the first rule is, you must follow all rules in the code of behavior! If you break the rules once, you will be turned into a frog. If you break the rules twice, your magic privileges will be suspended. And if you break the rules three times, you will be expelled. And finally no unsupervised magic at any time, do you understand Alina?"
