Hey there!! Thank you so much for checking out my first request on this story. This was requested by ImSad_AndItShows. I hope you all enjoy this!
Emily's POV
I stood at the bottom of the courtroom. It was the same courtroom that Charlie's case was held in. The other seraphims and the elders were talking, but I was too zoned out to pay attention.
Since Charlie proved that demons can be rehabilitated, I've been trying to get the higher ups to realize that we should take this opportunity. I've also been trying to cancel this extermination thing.
Turns out all of my protesting has landed me in a bad situation. They think that if I have so much faith in demons, I should be one.
Finally, I snapped out of it and glanced at the seraphims. Sera was crying, but she didn't try to defend me. The rest were on board with it. They reasoned that since it was my job to make everyone in heaven happy, I could easily manipulate the winners and other angels.
God himself silenced the court. "Do you have anything to say, Emily?"
I stared at him, dead in the eyes. "If you all cast me out and into hell, that just proves my point. Heaven is hypocritical and it looks like it's not going to change. So I don't belong here." I concluded, my speech obviously agitating the others.
After a long silence, God nodded his head. "I hereby pronounce you as fallen." He slammed something down, then opened a portal beneath me, allowing me to fall into hell. At that moment, the only thing I could hear was Sera's wailing. I would never forgive her for what she allowed.
As I fell, I felt the most painful thing I had ever experienced. My body morphed and changed. I felt the holiness being ripped out of me.
Neutral POV
Charlie and Vaggie were taking a stroll through hell. They were singing and recruiting sinners to fight in the upcoming war.
Suddenly, they saw a figure fall from the sky. They rushed towards the place where the figure landed, and immediately recognized Emily.
"Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit! Vaggie, it's Emily!" Charlie gasped, fear in her eyes.
Vaggie stood by Emily's side. "Babe, call your dad! He'll know what to do." She said, then tried to lift Emily up to her feet.
Charlie called her dad and explained the situation. He opened a portal to the area, and walked through. "Oh no.." He muttered. "How are you feeling, Emily?"
Emily didn't respond. She was in shock. She didn't know it, but her appearance changed dramatically, and the demons were almost as surprised as her.
Finally she blinked out of it and allowed Vaggie to help her up. She gazed around hell, then finally said, "I.. everything hurts."
Charlie and Vaggie stared at Lucifer. "Yeah... falling from heaven kind of does that." Lucifer said awkwardly. "It'll go away in a few months."
"Months?!" Charlie gasped, obviously worried. "It looks like she's in a lot of pain, Dad!"
Lucifer frowned. "We can't do anything about it. Her body needs time to adjust." Lucifer took out a notepad and a pen. "When your mother and I landed in hell, I went through the same thing. Luckily Lilith didn't, so she took care of me. Lots of bedrest, sunlight, and tea helped me." He gave a more detailed list to Charlie.
Vaggie butted in. "Should we let her stay in the hotel?"
Charlie lit up. "I'd love that!"
Lucifer clicked his tongue. "Will you both have the time to attend to her? It's going to take a lot of work. It's like she got an internal sunburn and also got dismantled and put back together in the wrong way."
The description made Charlie cringe. She looked at Vaggie. "Did you have to go through that too?"
"No, Charlie. I was already used to hell and I was technically a sinner, since I.. you know." Vaggie trailed off. "Getting my eye cut out and my wings pulled off hurt like a bitch though." She chuckled, trying to lighten the mood but failed. "Anyway, we'll be able to take care of Emily. We have open rooms at the hotel anyway."
"Alright. I'm only a call away if you need any help." Lucifer said, then opened a portal for the trio to go through. Charlie and Vaggie helped Emily inside, and left.
Once at the hotel, Vaggie and Charlie helped Emily get settled in. She was around the same size as Charlie, so Charlie lent her some clothes. Once Emily was wrapped up in bed, Charlie gave her a kiss on the forehead to check her temperature. It felt fine despite the change Emily was going through, so Charlie and Vaggie left.
As the months go by, Emily starts to feel better. Charlie and Vaggie introduce her to the other residents, who almost immediately like her. She proves herself useful by helping around the hotel. She entertained the guests and kept them happy, like she used to do to the winners in Heaven. In addition to this, she helped Vaggie and Alastor defend the hotel.
Emily starts to get to know Charlie and Vaggie better. Charlie and Vaggie were still having some complications because of the secret Adam revealed, which Emily helped them through. Emily helped Vaggie get in touch with her angelic power, and Vaggie helped Emily get used to the demonic power she gained after the fall. To help Emily learn to fly again, Vaggie brought out her own wings for the first time since the war. Charlie helped both of them get more comfortable with their appearances, through her natural charm and frequent compliments. They all did things to benefit each other, which led to love blossoming. In the end, they would become a polyamorous couple, and would live comfortably in the hotel, rehabilitating sinners everyday, despite Heaven's doubt.
