A Big Oopsies

As they kept making their way to town, they only had to stop once. This was due to Texas sinking in the sand for a second time.

Luckily Guerrero illustrated a great proficiency with digging. Allowing them to quickly get Texas free again. Most of the party was also surprised at how fast he was able to dig, leading Isabella to wonder what this person used to do to be so good at digging.

As they entered the town those from different worlds were surprised at how different it was from other towns. The structures were temporary, mostly consisting of tents.

"It may not look like much but I assure you it is a decent town," Allatriste said, with a smile.

"Why does everyone live in tents, is this army and they are in the campaign," Texas asked.

"No, nothing like that. It is because this town moves frequently to avoid the Grimm." Allatriste explained. This explanation was enough to help convince them, and they eagerly made their way into the town.

But as they approached they were surprised to notice the smell of smoke, as they took a closer look they noticed that the town was burning. Quickly they made their way down to the town and noticed it was under attack.

Quickly they hurried, only to notice the town attacked by a group of faunus. All of them wearing similar outfits, and with strange masks, but Guerrero only noticed one thing. "These people are mutants, they must face the Emperor's wrath." With this, he affixed his bayonet and charged into to fray.

At this, Allatriste just face-palmed and promptly issued his orders. "Isabella, Texas provides support so Guerrero, I will try and calm him down."

"Understood, weapons free," Texas replied, as she summoned her rigging and searched for a large gathering of enemies.

"Roger," was all Isabella said, as she took off like a bullet. Noticing a small group of enemies, she quickly summoned a small triangle in her hand. Chucking it at the group it exploded, killing the group, but it also caught some of the surrounding tents on fire.

Meanwhile, Guerrero was in the middle of the fray, shooting and stabbing the so-called "mutants" at will. Nothing escaped his fury, as he noticed a small child faunus he readied his rifle to kill them. As he aimed and wanted to pull the trigger.

Sheesh, his rifle was thrown off aim, a sword parring it away. "What are you doing Guerrero," Allatriste yelled. "We have to help these people not make this bandit attack worse."

As if to enunciate his point, a large explosion went off. Turning to face it both of them were greeted by a large dust cloud that nearly blew them away. Nearly 20% of the village was now a crater, and the rest was mostly blown away.

"Guess I want overboard, and also one of my guns jammed due to sand entering the breech." Said Texas, as if calmly reading off a sheet of paper. At this point, she was just exhausted and extremely furious. First, she was randomly transported from a nap to a desert, then she got randomly attacked by a crazed masked man. Then she had to travel across the aforementioned desert, not to mention she kept sinking in the sand. Now when she was finally promised rest, she found said rest disturbing. "Yeah, it's time to go gangster." She calmly said, as she unsheathed her sword, and sent out her Kingfishers.

She quickly rushed into the fray, her normally calm demeaner replaced with unbridled rage at the day events. She spotted a White Fang bandit trying to stop her, but she merely plowed right through him. Another tried to slice at her, but she merely parried their blade away, and shot him with a 20 mil that was on her rigging. Soon though the bandits surrounded her and she quickly get into the rhythm of parring, and counterattacking, with either her sword or rigging. 

Meanwhile, Isabella was caught in the blast wave and was sent flying. She quickly landed on her feet, as she shouted. "Next time how about a little warning before you attempt some landscaping." She said as she charged back into the fry. She quickly dodged an attack by a bandit, and in return she stabbed him. As his body fell, she looked around, her tufts of hair twitching as she tried to make sense of what was going on around them.

As this was going on, she noticed a large structure start moving. As she focused on it, four massive guns came together and aimed themselves at her. Suddenly a large beam was fired at her. She quickly dodged it and decided that now was a good time for a tactical retreat.

She spotted Texas and had a great idea. With the robot hot on her heels she made her way to her. "Hey Texas, look out," she shouted as the strange machine fired a small blast at her. She quickly dodged it, but Texas didn't have the time to react.

It hit her, and as the dust settled Texas turned towards the machine, the only evidence of its attack being a black smudge on her outfit. Texas furious at everything promptly turned all her guns at it, and a massive boom was let out, as all 10 of her 14-inch main guns fired. For good measure, she added all 16 of her secondary cannons as well.

It was safe to say that nothing remained of the strange machine except a massive carter. At the loss of the machine, the White Fang began to panic. Looking around murmurs could be heard.

"They took out the Schnee mech in one hit." one said

"That impossible." said another

"Hey temper temper Texas" Isabella added, chiding the very angry Kancolle. Texas merely turned and glared at her. With their spirits broken the White Fang promptly retreated.

"What the heck guys," Allatriste said, as he met up with Isabella and Texas. "You both nearly destroyed the town. Also you, you killed a good number of innocents their what happened." He said to the three of them. Guerrero arrived soon after Allatriste.

"My apologies not sure what came over me," Guerrero said, ashamed of himself for killing innocents.

The other two just lowered their heads, "We better get out while we can. We can make our way to another town. Hopefully, we make it before any realizes what we did." Allatriste said ushering them to continue down a side road.
