CHAPTER 25

Freen's POV

I immediately called the private investigator to meet me at the place I sent.

I drove myself at the meeting place. As I came inside and I saw him immediately.

I sit infront of him..

"What's the update?" I asked

He then gives me pictures. Those pictures you can see that uncle Isaac is present.

But then there is someone standing or sitting near uncle Isaac. With the same clothes.

Black jacket and a black mask. From its built you can immediately say that it's a man.

"We gathered some information from the airport and we noticed that man keep following the victim before it happens. We also check the pilot's plane. It is confirmed that the pilot that your uncle's Isaac assigned that day wasn't the one to fly the plane." He said

Then who drive the plane?

"The pilot that day died in the plane. Leading us in a dead end ma'am" he continued

"Then find the pilot that should fly the plane that day. Maybe someone bribe him. And find this man. Call me immediately for an Update" I said then stand up to leave then the place.

While driving I'm still thinking who's that mask man and what's the connection between him and uncle Isaac. All evidence leads to a dead end as what the investigator said.

Later on at home I decided to have a drink. I opened the bottle of wine and pour some on my glass.

Ring..ring..ringg

I grab my phone to find out that it's Becky's maid. I give her my number in case of emergency.

I immediately answered it.

"Hello ma'am? We're in the hospital" she said

What in the hospital?

"What are you doing there? What happened? No justification send me the location" I said then immediately put down the wine.

What is happening exactly.

I quickly go to the location send. I found the maid in the waiting area.

"What happened?" I asked her

"Ma'am I just heard a loud sound so I decided to check at her and then I see her lying in the floor." She said

And then the doctor came out.. we're still in the emergency room.

"Doc how was her?" I asked

"Are you a relative? But anyway she's fine she collapsed due to shock. We're all aware that the patient has a history of heart disease right?" She said

"Yes doc" I said

"Then please look at her always. Those kind of disease is a traitor. I advised you to give her this medicine and just continue her maintenance" the doctor said then leave.

What happened that makes her shocked?

I go inside the emergency room. The doctor said that we can go home after she wake up.

And it has been hours..

She hasn't wake up yet ...

I didn't notice that I have fallen asleep..

Dream starts

"You did it! I can't stand this anymore Carmela! Let's have a divorce!" Dad said

"You're the one makes me to be like this! You should cut your connection with that family!" Mom said angrily

"She's my best friend for God sake Carmela! She just shared there family's good news!" Dad said

Now my parents are fighting again. I am here listening to the small gap of my door.

We have come back in Manila from Palawan. I thought our family will be fine but no. Its starting to be destroyed.

"I will leave this country and I will bring freen with me!" Mom said and I saw her coming to my room so I decided to go to bed and fake my sleep.

"Freen wake up were going!" Mom said

She then grabbed me and I don't want to go with her. I want to stay with dad but I can't do anything.

Dream ends

I was awaken by a soft tap on my shoulders.

"Ba..b freen.." I open my eyes to see Becky who's now awake

"Becky! Are you fine now?" I asked

"Yes freen" she said smiling but I know something is off.

"What happened Becky? Why did you collapsed?" I asked her

She looks bothered of she will tell it.

"Ahmmm.. someone send me this message and then I saw a package in my bed. I thought it was from you so I opened it but.. it's my picture with fake blood" she said shaking

Who the h*ll send that to her?
