Rachel's POV
Finally, that bastard is dead. We killed him. It was brutal but he deserved every bit of torture that we put him through. Now my family's soul is at peace. I'd rather not explain all that we did to him because it's gruesome and gory. All people need to know is that he spent 4 hours writhing in pain until his soul left his body.
Oh, how the tables have turned. He presumed that I would be the one dead but look who's dead now. Karma is a dish best served cold and it sure came to bite him in the ass. Killing him brutally the way he did with my mom and sis brought a sense of closure. Justice has been served.
All the agony and anguish he put me through made his death a poignant closure. That anguish will be a part of me for a long time to come and the scars that have been woven into my soul aren't gonna fade but murdering him and seeing him lifeless did what no medicine or therapy could have ever done
We're hosting a party to commemorate the occasion, and Brandon has extended invitations to all his relatives, while I reached out to some long-lost friends. Although it took them some time to grasp the gravity of the circumstances that led to my disappearance, they eventually understood and forgave me. I'm delighted to say that I have my closest friends from childhood and high school back in my life. Thea played a pivotal role in reaching out to and persuading them to join us in the celebration. Life will only improve from here onwards.
