The room fell into a deafening silence as they absorbed the harrowing sight. Rachel's eyes widened, her breath hitched, and her hands trembled uncontrollably. The world seemed to stop as she stared at her father's lifeless body, suspended from the fan by a rope. Brandon stood frozen for a moment, his mind racing to comprehend the gruesome scene. He took a deep breath and stepped forward, offering his support to Rachel. Gently, he guided her away from the traumatic sight, leading her to a corner of the room. He understood that words were futile in such moments, so he simply held her, letting her grief pour out in silent sobs. He stayed solid in offering unwavering support and comfort.

She thought it was her fault and that only exacerbated her grief.
