Not So Secret | Mattheo Riddle 2/2

Pansy
We'd all been awoken by Margot screaming in the middle of the night.

"No!" She cried.

"She's having a nightmare." I looked at everyone's worried faces. "What do we do?" Enzo asked.

I hesitated, then started shaking her. She jolted awake. Her breathing heavy and escalated.

"Margot? Love, are you okay?" I held her face in my hands. She tried to speak, but started to hyperventilate.

"I should get Riddle." Enzo said and him, Blaise, and Theodore left promptly.

"It's okay. You're okay. It was only a nightmare." I tried to calm her down, but she was only getting worse.

"What happened? Is she okay?" Mattheo bolted in here.

"Margot? Baby, look at me." He sat on the other side of her. "Hey, it's all okay. I'm here. He's not. He's dead, okay?" He cupped her face in his hands.

"He- he-" she stuttered, tears streaming down her face.

"Shh, it's okay." He pulled her into his arms while she sobbed. "Don't talk. It's gonna be okay. It was only a bad dream." He whispered, stroking her hair with one hand and her back with the other.

We all watched in silence as Mattheo calmed Margot down. "It's beautiful how easily you can calm her down." I said quietly.

His eyes averted to me, but he didn't say anything. "Have you all been here the whole night?" He asked looking around. "We played board games and watched a film." Theodore answered with a nod.

He sat beside me and I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Is she gonna be okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, she'll be okay. She's just been a little stressed lately." He mumbled.

Mattheo
Stressed because of me.

She only gets these nightmares now when she's stressed beforehand. I caused her that stress this time.

I stayed the rest of the night with Margot in the girls dorm, comforting her until she went back to sleep.

As for me, I couldn't sleep. After I came back to my dorm from the Astronomy Tower, I hadn't been able to sleep.

Margot
It had been the morning, I'd woken up with Mattheo by my side, his arms wrapped around me.

I carefully undid his arms so he could sleep more, and sat up.

"Pansy?" I whispered to see if she's awake. "Margot?" She sat up almost immediately.

She sprung out of bed and jumped into my arms. "Are you okay, my love?" She asked. "Yeah, I'm okay." I smiled softly. "I can hardly remember last night anyway, after all those shots." I smirked.

She sighed of relief, nodding. "Good. Good. I'm just glad everything's good now." She smiled.

We looked over at Daphne with Blaise and Odeya with Enzo all sleeping. Theodore also sound asleep in Pansy's bed. Still no Draco anywhere.

"Everything alright with you lately? If you need to talk, we really can. I have so much free time since Theodore has been really busy with his school work." She said.

Pansy and I ended up going to the Astronomy Tower for the morning and talking about everything. I told her everything all over with what happened to me at Malfoy Manor, the nightmares I'd been having, my issues with Mattheo, everything.
