Yeh Ishq nahi aasan
itna hi samajh lijiye,
Ek aag ka dariya hai
aur doob ke jaana hai

Since the day she opened her eyes in this world, she was named "Badi beti ho ghar ki, You should learn to compromise," from the beginning. People around her forgot that she had her own identity instead they expect her to protect that pathetic title of the 'eldest sister'. And with great personalities come great responsibilities. Responsibilities as in;

"Aashna, mere kapde press kardo."

"Aashu, raat ke liye roti bana do."

"Beta, zara chai bana do, sar me dard horha hai."

Aashna Akhtar is a typical eldest daughter of the Akhtar family. She's smart in academics, Impulsive in her decisions, hot-headed like her father sensitive like her mother and last but not the least. She's irresponsible. Exactly opposite of what her parents had prayed for.

"Ek kapda dhang se iron nahi karskti tum."

" Roti banane kaha tha, India ka map nahi."

" Gas par chai tumne rakhi thi? Jal kar raakh ho gayi hai."

However, things started to take a toll on her when she was sidelined by her family when her younger sister started to fit the criteria of 'adarsh beti'.

Sehar Akhtar is the antonym of Aashna. A prominent ideal daughter in the eyes of a middle-class family. From cooking to doing the laundry; she is fine at everything except in her studies, although, the only similarity between the two sisters is the brewing jealousy and the inferiority complex they feel when they're constantly compared with each other by their family, who are totally ignorant about it. Eventually causing a rift between them.

Amidst the clutter of family drama, Aashna navigates her way to get herself indulged in a job as an escape from home and ultimately earns the position of a teacher in a kindergarten school.

Juggling between college and school; life seems to be on track for her at that moment. Nonetheless, things weren't in her favour for a long span as Zakariya Farooque who happens to be her classmate as well as the uncle of one of her students stormed into her life, being a 'freaking pain in the ass.'

"Tumhari problem kya hai?"

"Tum."

"Doesn't sound like my problem."

"Baccho ke sath sath unke guardians se bhi baat karne ki tameez seekhlo pehle tum."

"As far as I remember, you are still dependent on 'your' guardian . Is lihaz se tum bacche hue, aaye bade doosro ke baccho ke guardian banne".

" Chachu! Teacher!! Filhal toh aap dono bacche lagrhe hai poore school ke samne."

" Shut up! " They both spurted in unison.
