I bolted down the stairs and across the hall into the required door. Immediately I saw their room items and clothes cluttered around the floor and the familiar scent of 'Boy room', Alfie sat on his bed tinkering with something not sure what and Jerome on his bed up to something as per usual. Of course, the opening of their door made them both jump even more so when they both noticed it was me.

"Hi Y/n." Alfie greeted, but I turned to him and he noticed my face his smile dropping,

"This does not concern you," I told him before I turned my attention back to the other bed, where Jermone sat his tie pulled down looking understandably sheepish, a fear in his eyes as he saw my face and not realizing this look was pointed in his direction.

"Ohhh you're gonna die," Alfie smirked sipping the straw of his drink,

"Jerome Clarke!" I yelled,

"Nice knowing you Alfie." He gulped,

"Terrible knowing you too Jerome," Alfie nodded,

"You stole my book!"

"S-Stole? I didn't steal your book."

"Really, 'cause it's missing."

"What makes you think I took it!"

"Really? My book. That has the detailed planned-out schedule for all of next term's classes including the whole term lesson structure with pre-researched topics, which is basically next term cheat sheets." I explained as I moved closer so much so I stood inches from his bed leaving him with no real way to escape me, "Goes missing. And you wonder why I look at you?"

"Okay, that is a good point..." He nodded,

"So you admit you took it!"

"No! I did not take it."

"Liar!"

"I'm not lying I didn't take it,"

"Yes, you did! I can tell you are lying Jerome you're a terrible liar."

"I resent that I am an excellent liar."

"No, you're not, you're a terrible liar. You're nose twitches when you lie."

"No, it doesn't!"

"Yes it does, so I'll ask you again did you take my book?" I crossed my arms over my chest,

He looked sheepish and did his best to move his hand to his face faking to be scratching his nose as he spoke to cover it, "I did not steal your book."

"Say it again," I told him as I grabbed his wrist forcing it away to reveal his face, immediately he tried to cover it with his other hand but I grabbed that wrist too so he couldn't, "Say it."

"I... didn't steal...anything."

"fine. I warned you, Jerome." I told him, "You have forced my hand," I glared as I began to tickle him,

"AHh! No! No Y/n! Y/n please!" He whined trying to argue and prevent my tickles "Alright! alright!" He yelped grabbing my book from under his sheets, holding it up.

"Thank you," I snatched my book back, "Stay out of my room."

"I will." he nodded,

"Good, if you want to see my book. Ask." I told him using the book to bonk him on his head,

"Oww." He complained rubbing his head, "So I can read it?"

"Of course, at the end of the day, it's you doing homework and I am not going to stop you," I told him, going to the door.

"Wait. Can I borrow the book then? or read it in your room?"

"You may read it in my room until I can trust you." I sighed heading out to go back to my room, "You wanna come now?"

"Absolutely," He happily got up from his bed to follow me.
