Author's POV:
"She.. she did attach some papers.."

"If that is what happened then why didn't you inform me right away??" - Mr.Oh
"I- I wanted to but.. she's my friend so I didn't want to cause her trouble. But after hearing the announcement, I.. I realised I can't keep it to myself anymore." - Yuna
"Well, Miss Min and Miss Hong, you're both at fault. But Miss Min, I'll let it be this time as you're one of the top brightest students in our school." - The Principal
"I won't tell anything to your parents. And I'll be hoping this will be between the 5 of us. And this better not happen ever again." - The Principal
Mr.Oh sighed, "this is really disappointing from you, Min Sooah. I'll be ignoring these extra pages and only check the real ones." He got up from his seat, bowed to the Principal and left.
"All of you may leave now. And don't forget what I said, Miss Min Sooah." - The Principal
The three of them bowed and headed out one by one, only to find Jin standing outside with a serious look on his face.
Areum proudly took her leave.
Jin felt bad for Sooah. Because he knew his childhood best friend will be anything but a cheater. The expressionless look on her face made it obvious to both Jin and Yuna that how much the situation had affected her.
"Sooah.." both Jin and Yuna call her at the same time.
"Seokjin-shii.. if my brother looks for me, tell him I'll see him at home." - Sooah
"Yeah, sure." - Jin
Hearing that, she walked away like a lifeless body.
"Sooah-yah..."
Jin turned to face Yuna, "you really think she will listen OR even talk to you after what you've done?" He scoffed, "I never thought you'll be like this to someone like her."
"Seokjin... don't talk about it when you don't know anything." - Yuna
"Oh really? You mean I don't know that you said the 'truth' because you felt it was the right thing to do?" - Jin *chuckles*
"Let me tell you something. None of you know her better than me. And even if she cheats infront of me, I'll never believe my eyes. That's how much I trust her, unlike you." - Jin
Jin was about to walk away, but he again turned to face her and said, "oh and btw, we're done."
"Wh..what do you mean 'we're done' ? - Yuna
"I mean, we're breaking up. I'm sorry but I'm not willing to give a person like you a chance for a long term relationship." - Jin
"You have no idea why I did that!" - Yuna
"Y'know what, Yuna? Even if I was at life risk, I wouldn't lie about something that'll hurt, or ruin, my best friend." - Jin
"Are you seriously leaving me because of her?? Does she mean that much to you????" - Yuna
"1. I'm not leaving you for her but for your own personality.
And 2. No one will ever know how much she means to me." - Jin
He was about leave finally, but her next words stopped him (again).
"Do you... love her?" - Yuna
"Nothing you should be worried or care about." - Jin
With that, he left. To his class? Nope.
But to find the one who needed someone very much right now.
Jin's POV:
Nowhere. She's fcking nowhere. I have even checked the rooftop. Yes, I missed the last class of the day. But right now, she needs someone. She's more important.
"Yah, Kim Seokjin!"
I tune around to see Yoongi, Hoseok and Namjoon walking towards me.
"What are you doing here? And why did you and Sooah skip class??" - Hoseok
"Yoongi-ah, good thing I found you. Text Sooah and ask her where she is right now!" - Jin
"Wae wae wae? (Why why why?) What's up?" - Yoongi *takes out his phone*
I told them everything I heard.
"Fck. Pick up the damn phone, Sooah!" - Yoongi *rushes towards the exist of the school*
"Hyung, she probably left by noe. We all should look outside." - Namjoon
"You're right. Let's split up." - Jin
They all grab their bags and stuff from the locker and head out to search for Sooah.
They knew she would be anywhere but her home, so that was a BIG NO.
At some point, he ran out of ideas about where she could be. But just then, he remembered that old lake..
The one he found for himself and thought to keep only to himself, but ended up sharing with her only.
I headed straight to that lake. It wasn't much far away from our neighbourhood.
And just as I thought, she's there - sitting by the lake, starring deeply at it while hugging her knees close to herself.
I took a deep and sat by her side. She didn't even flinch.
"Y'know this was my place, even before I met you." - Jin
"Well I'm sorry then if you think I'm occupying your place." - Sooah
What she said reminded me of how she took my 1st place back in those years. But is that important now? Nope.
"It's fine. I'm renting it to you. 500 won per day." - Jin
"Take that money from my brother." - Sooah
. . . . . . . .
"So, what are you doing here out of all places?" - Jin
"Don't act like you don't know." - Sooah
"You're really getting upset about that? For a fake friend? Honestly, I don't even understand how you became friends with her in the first place." - Jin
"Please.. can we not talk about it?" - Sooah
"Fine. But let me tell you one thing. Yuna and I are done. And don't you dare tell me to date her ever again." - Jin
"What? Why did you- " - Sooah
"There is no way I'll get in a relationship with a fake person like her." - Jin
"Why would it matter to whether she did right or wrong with me?... I'm your competitor after all. You should be happy that I'm in a trouble like this" - Sooah *mumbles*
"Because I don't compete with cheaters. And out of all the people in this world, you are the only person I know will never cheat." - Jin
"And as I said, if you were a cheater, I wouldn't compete with you, Min Sooah." - Jin
