Crows and Sunsets (Sabo x Reader)

Beginning Part 2

1st POV
I was suddenly woken up by the feeling of my mom shaking me softly. "Hmm mom?" I groan as I sat on my bed. "Honey.. your father and I decided on our answer.." my mom said as she was sitting beside me on my bed. "What is the answer mom?!?!" I said it nervously and hoping that the answer is yes. "Sorry honey but we decided no it's the best for you to stay here since it's too dangerous out there in the sea" my mother said it quietly. "WHAT?!?!" I yelled, "sorry sweetie it's for the best" my mother said.

I wanted to scream at her so much because I knew it was her fault that I can't go, it's always her that ruin my dreams! But.. I didn't yelled at her I just took a deep breath and said "I'm going on a walk mom, I'll be back soon" I left my room as my mother called out to me but I ignore her as I went out of my home. I was walking around the village seeing kids running around and villagers selling and buying stuff.

I then saw the same group of people with the weird cloak and covering their faces. "Hm I wonder why they are hiding their faces?" I think to myself as I kept a close eye on them. I saw that they were heading towards the beach and I followed them behind quietly.

I saw that they were putting stuff into their huge ship. I was starting at their ship in awe, I then saw one of the people looking at my direction and I ducked down into the bush making sure that the person didn't notice me. "Shoot.. I hope the mystery person didn't see me.." I think to myself as I looked at them again. I notice that the person didn't went towards my direction so I was ok for now..
I came closer to the mystery people to try hear what they were saying.

"Dragon is that everything we need to keep on sailing?" One of the cloak people said, "We still need a bit more food, so go get more food while I make sure everyone is on board and ready to go." Dragon said. "Ok! I'll be right back!" The cloak person said as they walked away from the beach and went back to the village. "Hmm I should sneak into their ship.." I think to myself as I was deciding if I should sneak in or not. "This could be my only chance.." I whispered to myself as I backed away from the bush that I was hiding in as I ran back to my house.

"Yeah I'm taking that chance sorry ma but I gotta do it whatever you like it or not" I said as I made it to my home and I ran up to my room as I open my door and grab my backpack. I grab some clothes, my brush/comb, (some other things you need) and I went downstairs to grab some snacks and a couple of water bottles. I decided to leave a note for my parents when they come back from work. "I'm sorry ma and pa but this is my life.." I said as I grab my hat (any type of hat or goggles if yall want it) and I put my hat/goggles on as I ran out my home and started running towards the ship.

I made it back to the bush I was hiding in earlier as I look around and made sure there was no one around. "Hm no one around weird" I think to myself as I waited for a few minutes before running towards the ship and getting on the ship. CRASH "Wha-" before I could say what, I heard the crash coming from inside the ship and I heard people talking so I quickly hid behind a few boxes. I peaked out from the boxes as i saw nothing the people were still inside as I heard one of the people say "Dragon we got everything", then Dragon said "Ok good now lets sail". I was a bit nervous and frightened since I never left my village before. "Maybe I should go back.." I think to myself as I was about to go back but the door of the ship swung open and people came out. So I hid back behind the boxes hoping that I wouldn't get caught so early.

I then peaked a bit from the boxes and saw people getting ready to sail the ship. I didn't move around since I didn't want to get caught or make noises, and I knew it was too late for me to get out of this ship since I couldn't get off this ship anymore. I sigh as I pinch my forehead thinking about what should I do since I'm stuck here. "Welp I have no choice but to stay here unless I swim.. nah I ain't finna do all that" I sigh as I sat down behind the boxes as the ship started to sail away from my village. "Goodbye everyone.. goodbye mom.. dad.. hope to see you guys again in the future.." I looked at my village as we sail father away from it and I knew that this day was a brand new chapter of my life..
