Chapter 6

The next day, I woke up not in as much pain, and decided to finally text Liam.

Hey Liam, sorry I haven't been answering your texts, I'm not ignoring you or anything its just that my phone died.

Yeah, my phone died, I'm sure he'll believe that...

Its ok :)

I got out of my bed and went into the bathroom to take a shower, feeling the warm water hit my still pretty fresh cuts, made it burn a little bit.

I got out of the shower and put a white long sleeve shirt on with some jeans and black high tops. I put my hair down with some bangs to the side, covering the bandage on my forehead from the bottle.

I shuddered at the thought of that night.

I walked back into my room,  putting on my grey jacket.

I decided to go for a walk in the park, it's still pretty early, so usually not many people are usually there.

I walked downstairs expecting my dad to be back, but he still wasn't here, this is the longest he's ever been gone from home, but I'm not complaining.

I got another text from Liam

So whattt aree you doinn?

Going for a walk in the park

~Hazel

Oh, Hey me to! It be funny if we were at the same park :p

~Liam

Haha yeah.

~Hazel

I put my phone back into my pocket after I reached the park.

I started just wondering around until I heard something that sounded like a group of people laughing, I turned around and sure enough there was, but It wasn't just any group of people, it was my Ex-Aiden and his group of friends and his new girlfriend, Amy, Who was absolutely the one person who hated me the most in high school, I mean everyone hate me, but she just hated me more.

I tried to keep my head down, hoping they wouldn't see me.

They all knew that Aiden would hit me, and once they even all ganged up on me, one day when I was walking home from school.

I started walking the way back to my house but it was to late, they spotted me.

"Hey isn't that Hazel?" I heard Amy yell

Shoot, I started walking faster like I didn't hear them

I started to hear them all run, and now I knew I was in Trouble.

I felt someone trip me, and I fell to the ground,

They all started laughing

Oh no this is high school all over again.

"Aw look isn't it little hazel from high school",  Amy said

Aiden leaned down and said

"Miss me?"

I spit in his face.

He cursed and kicked me in the stomach.

Not again.

I groaned

"Get her sweetheart!"

Then they all just started beating me up, the punching the kicking, scratching, anything you could think of, Everything started to get darker, I felt like it was hard for me to keep my eyes open.

I tried screaming for them to stop, but nothing would come out.

I tried screaming for help, but nothing.

I Started hearing someone scream, and it sounded a lot like Liam, I think I'm imagining things now.

"HEY LEAVE HER ALONE, OR I'LL CALL THE COPS!"

They all started running away laughing.

I saw someone kneel down next to me, It was Liam.

"Oh my god Hazel, are you ok?,  there's cuts and bruises all over your body, I better call an ambulance" 

It was getting really hard for me to keep my eyes open, and Liam could tell.

"No Hazel you got to keep your eyes open"

I could hear the ambulance sirens coming closer

but I Couldn't keep them open any longer, I closed them and blacked out.

The last thing I heard was

"Somebody, help get her off the ground"

Then it was black.

........

I'm Somewhere  I just don't know where, I cant see anything, all I see is blackness, I think I'm in a hospital, I can hear the beeping coming from a machine, that probably has my heart rate on it.

I cant see anything but I can hear everything that's going on around me, Weird.

I heard a voice that I think was Liam's.

"Is she going to be ok?"

"Were not completely sure, she's in a coma right now, she had some blood loss and some broken bones, but were just going to hope for the best"

"Ok Doctor"

Then I heard the door close

I could hear a chair being moved up next to me,

I felt someone grab my hand squeezing it, I knew it was Liam.

"I'm not leaving until you wake up" he said

"Your going to be ok, I Promise"
