Chapter 22

*DELILAH'S P.O.V.*

I walked up to Hazel's hotel room knocking on the door. I hope this is her room.

She's not answering, what's taking her so long? I knocked again, nothing. I put my hand on the door handle, the doors open. I walked inside closing the door behind me.

"Hazel?" I said. No answer

I walked into the bedroom, opening the door "Hazel?" Nope.

I walked to the bathroom and knocked, she has to be in here.

"Hazel are you in their?" I said putting my ear to the door. Nothing again.

I opened the door and jumped back when I saw Hazel's lifeless pale body on the ground.

"HAZEL" I screamed, I knelt on the ground next to her pressing two fingers to her neck, she's still breathing but her heart is beating very slow.

I grabbed my phone out of my back pocket and dialed 911.

"911, Whats Your Emergency" A ladies voice said to me

"My friend tried to commit suicide and it looks like she swallowed a lot of pills" I said holding the bottle of pills that were laying next to her.

"Okay, Is she still breathing?" The lady Asked

"Yes, but barley it seems like" I panicked

"Okay, just calm down and help is on the way"

"okay" I said before hanging up the phone

I checked her pulse again and it was very hard to feel, but it was still there.

I walked out of the bathroom and opened the front door looking down the hallway hoping the paramedics were almost here, but all I could see was this one guy, wait, I think that boy is Liam!

I ran down the hall over to him.

"Liam!" I ran up to him and obviously thought that I was a fan just trying to get a picture

He smiled opening his arms, like I was running up to give him a hug.

"Liam, I'm Hazel's friend, she tried to commit suicide, the paramedics are on their way"

His smiled automatically dropped, "Wait, What"

"I was coming to come hang out with her today and when I got to the room no one answered and the door was open so I walked in looking for her, I looked in the bathroom and she was laying on ground, She swallowed a bunch of pills"

He lightly pushed past me and started to run down the hall, I started to run to the room behind him.

I ran back into the room to the bathroom and saw Liam kneeling next to Hazel's body, I could see some tears spilling out of his eyes.

I could hear running down the hallway, its probably the paramedics.

They burst through the door and I pointed to the door where Hazel was without saying anything, I watched as they carried Hazel's body on the gurney out the bathroom quickly and down the hall to get back to the ambulance with Liam walking next to the gurney holding Hazel's hand.

Oh god, I hope she's going to be okay.

"Well it looks like we got there just in time, her heart rate has gone back up, and I think she's going to be okay" The doctor said

"Thank God" I mumbled

"But, this is not the first time that she has been in the hospital for attempted suicide"

"What? How many times has she been in the hospital for this?" Lima asked

"This is her third time" The Doctor said looking down at the clipboard he was holding.

"Oh my god' Liam said running his hand through his hair.

"But now were going to have to put into her into a short term mental hospital, she shouldn't be there very long, here is some information about it" He said holding out a pamphlet

I grabbed the pamphlet out of his hands flipping through the pages. "How Long is she going to be in there?" I asked skimming thought the paragraphs.

"She should be there for no more than 3 days and you can come visit her." He answered. "Well, she is still sleeping but she should be waking up very shortly so you two can go see her"

"I think I'm just going to let Liam go" I said putting my hand on his back, pushing slightly, siginaling for him to go.

"Are you sure? you can come too, its okay" Liam said turning back to look at me

"No It's okay, I'll see her later, you should be there when she wakes up" I smiled

He gave me a slight smile back, walking to the room Hazel was in, walking inside.

I sat back down on a chair that was in this small waiting room, flipping through the pamphlet again.

I can't believe Hazel's been in the hospital 3 times for suicide attempts, you would never be able to tell that she felt this way by looking at her, she's good at hiding it. I guess we have to look out for her more than we thought. I'm just glad that the pills didn't work and that she's alive. She's alive, and that's all that matters.
