|15| The Piximon cometh!

The digidestined continued walking through the desert with Tai and Agumon walking ahead of the others.

Tai: "Okay, I admit a little breeze might be nice but it's still a beautiful day. Don't you think?"

Agumon: "Yeah, maybe for a scorpion"

With the others behind, Mimi and Joe were looking at their crests.

Mimi: "It's beautiful, isn't it, Joe? And every crest we've found so far has been different"

Joe: "Yeah, but we still don't know how to use them So we need to learn how to use them."

Sora: "Or else our digimon could digivolve all messed up, right?"

When she said that, a few of them peered over to impmon.. who was holding y/n's hand.

Matt: "Yeah, but none of that really matters until we find all the crests"

Izzy: "Hmm, I think you're probably right about that one, Matt. Maybe the crest's power comes from having all of them"

Meanwhile, with tai and agumon ahead.

Tai: ""Hmm, what are they doing back there?"

he and Agumon stopped walking and noticed that the others haven't caught up with them yet.

Tai: "Hey, we gotta move on! If we're gonna take some down time, we need to find some shade."

However, he, and agumon, were Unaware of what was happening behind them.

Impmon: "would ya shut up?! We're in the middle of something here!! Go find some shade or somethin'!-"

Suddenly, renamon's ears flickered. His eyes widen, as she suddenly sprints forward, grabbing tai and agumon, and throwing them away, as she then falls into the sand.

Y/n: "renamon!"

Impmon: "ah crap!-"

Suddenly, renamon gets lifted out the sand, within the pincers of a familiar digimon.

Impmon: "Kuwagamon?!"

Sora: "not this guy again!"

Impmon: "again?!"

Renamon grits her teeth, struggling to force the pieces open, but it was no use. To help, agumon stands up, and formed a fireball in his mouth.

Agumon: "pepper breath!"

He fires... But it does nothing.

Renamon tried the same, forming a hardened leaf in her hand, and flings it at Kuwagamon, but it didn't even flinch.

Agumon: "uh- we have a big problem. This guy's much stronger then he used to be-"

Renamon: "ngh!- agumon.. you need to digivolve!"

Y/n tried to run for her, but impmon stops him, and instead runs forward himself.

Impmon: "bada boom!"

He flings a fireball, but just like the other attempts, it didn't work.

Impmon: "yo, dino dummy! Light 'em up!"

Impmon points his fingers at Kuwagamon, shooting constantly at it, as agumon stood there conflicted.

Renamon: "watch where you shoot those things impmon!"

Impmon: "sorry toots, gotta deal!"

Kuwagamon, growing frustrated, throws renamon away, making her crash into a cactus. It then turns back to impmon and agumon, and bared it's pincers.
