Theodora

Probably the best thing I put in my bunk is the enchanted bookshelf. It has direct access to every book and scroll in the Big House library. Sure, I have my computer too, but the internet doesn't have all the information I need, believe it or not.

I dig through books full of ancient texts, scrolls that are older than I can possibly imagine, and scroll through Greek history websites, searching for anything that could relate to the prophecy. Unfortunately for me, the day has had a heavy toll, and despite Coach Hedge banging on everyone's doors, yelling at us to sleep, I knock out.

I wake up to Leo knocking on my door. "Yo, Theo! We're landing!"

"Landing?" I sit up groggily, my neck and back killing me. I'd fallen asleep leaning against the wall. I had been dreaming about the dark pit again. Gaea was once again asking me to bring her my friends, so that she may bleed them dry. Just your usual cheery dream messages sent from your usual mom.

He opens the door and pokes his head in. "Holy Hephaestus mamasita, did a library explode in here?" I look around and see there's books covering my bed, and the floor surrounding it.

"Uh, I was trying to do research." I feel my face burning.

He hops around the books to give me a good morning kiss. "You're so smart." He tells me. "I love it."

"Uh, what happened in here?" Hazel asks. She and Frank stop in my door.

Frank frowns. "Your cabin is bigger than mine!" He leans to look at the size from the outside. "How-"

"Not important right now." I say, trying to stretch the kinks out of my neck.

"Hey, Theo-" Annabeth and Percy are in the doorway now too. "Gods, did you sleep?" Annabeth is staring at all the books.

"Did you fight some sort of... book monster in here?" Percy asks.

"Alright, I got carried away." I get out of bed and crack my back.

"Nice T-shirt, by the way." Leo grins. "I look down and see I'm wearing an oversized shirt that Chiron gave me that reads What Athens in Greece, Stays in Greece and no pajama shorts.

Frank holds back a chuckle.

"Okay guys, haha." I start picking up books from the floor. "Party in Theo's cabin is over. Go eat your breakfast."

They leave, but Leo stays, examining me. "Gods, you look spicy."

I feel myself blush. I definitely do not look great right now. I can feel my hair falling out of the bun it was in, and I need to shower. The comment does make me feel a little better, though. Something about the way he and Hazel looked at each other on the beach left me uneasy.

He wraps his arms around me, resting his cheek on the top of my head. "You did sleep, right?"

"Yeah, I did." I mumble into his shoulder. He smells good. Fresh out of the shower.

"Okay," He sighs. "I know you get excited, and you don't realize how much time passes. I need you to take care of yourself. You need to sleep. You need to eat. Don't let all this..." He waves his arm, and I assume he's gesturing at the books. "...consume you."

"I won't." I promise.

"Hey, thank you for not hating me, for blowing up the Romans yesterday." He pulls away to look at me. "I know you were working hard for peace and I kinda ruined it."

I smile and tuck one of his curly hairs behind his ear. "That's okay, Leo. You weren't in control of yourself."

"Yeah, but still... you didn't have to stick up for me."
