Hello! I just want to say, thank you so much for reading this story! It's been on my mind for a few years now, so I'm so glad I finally found the courage to actually write it! I think I formed a cast list for this book in like, early 2022 or something, (although, the cast looked vastly different back then. I've made a lot of changes XD)
Fun fact, originally Saikoro (the ultimate gameshow host) was going to be the mastermind, and Ruji (the ultimate ghostbuster) was going to die in the second round. I also had some different ultimates in there, like the ultimate snake charmer.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the story! Please let me know if anyone would like to see more like this. I found that these kinds of Danganronpa stories are really hard, but really fun for me to write, so if anyone would like to potentially see one of Daiki's games or something, I'd maybe consider doing that. (It really depends, though. I have a lot of projects I'm working on XP)
This story was (obviously) inspired by Danganronpa, V3. Rantaro Amami belongs to that game, not me. The rest of the characters are mine, though their images were AI-generated. The forbidden action motive was inspired by the Danganronpa 3 show. Another big inspiration for this story was a super strange two-week camping trip I went on. A lot went wrong on that trip and it was very difficult for a number of reasons, but one good thing that came out of it was a bunch of ideas for this book. So, you can thank the 2023 National Jamboree for the rafting chapter, the scene with the stars, the training center, the dancing in the rain, and many more aspects of this book.
