Another day

 Madisons pov

" MOMMY MOMMY" i heard my 4 year old yell. " what  baby girl?" i say groggy because i didn't get much sleep last night because my stupid boss would not let me go home early.  ''i get to go to big girl school'' oh yeah i have to put you there because your asshole of a dad left and i have to work so you can get everything you want cause you are my princess. 

" i know baby girl why don't you go get ready" "okay mama" she yells as she runs out of the room as i get up because dame am I tired. i go to the closet and grab my underwear and bra to put under my tight black jeans and my  tight black shirt because I get a lot of tips if i wear this. 

"mama i  am ready " i hear violet yell down the hall as i walk out to our very small kitchen " what do you want for breakfast" i ask as i look in the refrigerator to only find eggs and some milk.

 " um i want waffles mama"  she says as i make her pb&js for her lunch at school " hey how about i make those one eggs you want to try baby girl"  

she looks at me like i am the most mean person in the world " no mama i want waffles" well dam there goes that idea  "umm how about Dunkin baby?" i mean it is one dollar for a kid under 5 so why not " YES please mama" well there is my answer  " okay baby girl lets go"  as she pulls me out of the door "up mama up" she says as she reaches for the back door of my car.

time skip

" have a good day baby girl" i yell as she runs to her new teacher " bye mama" i hear her yell back.

now that she is gone i can think how my life went to shit how i got pregnant at 17 ,How my baby daddy decided he did not want a kid, how i have to work this job to pay for my 3 year old daughters life to not be shit. I think all of that as i pull up to work.

 " hey Madison, how is violet" my coworker Rose asked " hey rose she is good i just dropped her off at daycare for the first time"  "oh no i hope you are doing okay. I know how you feel about people you don't know watching her"  " yeah but it had to be done" i tell her as i put on my name tag

"anyway i have to start my shift but i can talk to you at my lunch break"  i say as i walk out to my first table. 

i walk up to a family " hey my name is Madison what can i get started for you guy today" i say " um yes can i get two lemonades and one coke and a water" the mom says

 " yes of course let me know when you want to order" as i walk away i turn " hey i am so sorry do you want a lid for the two lemonades it is easy for kids to knock over their drinks" 

" yes please that would be amazing" the dad said this time. 

"Yeah no problem i will come right out with those" i say as i walk to the back to get their drinks. as i walk out with the families drinks i see four men in my section " here you are let me know when you are ready to order"  "thank you miss"  the son says " no problem little guy" i smile at him.

I walked over to the four men i noticed all of them were looking down 

" hey i' am Madison i will be taking care of you. what can i get started of you four "

" i think we will all take water" i hear a deep voice say and my breath hitch 

when i look up again they are all looking at me with one blue eyes and black hair one with brown eyes and brown hair another one with black hair but green eyes  and one with blonde hair and grey eye 

" um yeah yeah um do you want to order food now or wait? " i asked stuttering over my words 

"we can wait sweetheart " the one with brown hair says " "okay i will be out with those waters soon" " take your time" the blonde one says. i walk away so fast to get these men their water.
