With the sun still rising they got up, walking towards the beach in search of transportation. Ellie was walking faster than them both, that feeling still burrowed in Steven's heart as they all three walked to the shore.

After an hour or so of walking, they finally made it to a dock, knowing where and what the island is they were ready. Ellie hurried Joel and Steven into the boat, however when Ellie sat in the boat with the two the water suddenly spilled in as the boat began to sink.
"Shit." She muttered as she stepped back onto the dock.
"Find another boat, I think two's all it can take." Joel said, looking around as Ellie did in fact find another boat.

As Ellie seemingly sped off at the speed of light in her boat, Joel struggled with the engine to his boat. Steven sat in front, waiting patiently as Joel began to hit the motor. It seemed pointless yet somehow the hit kicked it back into gear as they sped off.

They cut through the water, wind blowing cold and fast as they sped towards the island. It wasn't far out, and soon enough they'd beached the boats.

"Keep down, and don't use guns. We don't want to draw attention to ourselves." Joel said, quietly stepping out of the boat. The dense forest of the island just in front of them.
"Okay." Ellie nods, Steven mimicked the motion.

Joel held his knife at hip and snuck towards the forest. Ellie behind him with her switchblade, and Steven with his blade. The forest was so dense and lush they could crawl in the thick ferns. Completely hiding them from view of the cultists. Or so they thought.
"I don't hear anyone." Ellie mumbles,
"I-" suddenly Joel shouts, an arrow lodging itself in his side.

"Joel!" Steven shouts, only to be clocked over the head with a bat. Joel rolled around in pain as he watched the butt of a rifle knock him out cold. With just Ellie left she didn't have much time to think before she was pacified as well.

Joel came to, deliriously looking around at the upside down world. He was cold beyond belief, he looked up to find himself stripped of his coat. Now left in a T-shirt Joel groaned, the hole in his side leaking blood all into the right side of his top. A deep red staining the fabric. Not to mention the drips running down his arm and up his neck.

The forest he found himself in was soaked with rain, covered in the darkness of night as he watched torches approach him. Suddenly he's hit across the head. Further sending him into delirium.

"W-what-" he groaned, seeing the hazy outline of a person. He's then slapped, snapping back to reality as he stared into the eyes of a cultist. Scars are sliced intricately across the woman's face, her clothing cloth and soaked with rain as she pulled out a large knife.

"They are nestled," the woman lifts up Joel's shirt, pressing the blade against his stomach,"with sin."
He's head level with her gut, panting with fear as the blade slowly begins to cut him.

"WAIT!" He shouts, the woman pauses. Kneeling down until she's eye level with him. She brings the knife to his neck as Joel grabbed the handle. Attempting to hold it away from his throat.
"Why do yo-" Joel shot forward, biting at the woman's face and crushing through her nose as he bit it off.
