A/N: Aemma doesn't die in this book. Rhaegon is crowned king instead of Viserys. So therefore is not Rhaenyra the heir and there will be no war between the Greens and the Blacks. Aemma and Rhaegon are best friends, so Aemma names her firstborn child after him. Alicent has a crush on Rhaegon before marrying him, so she will not be unhappy or forced into their marriage. Otto is a better character in this and instead of forcing Alicent to marry the king, he offers Rhaegon a betrothal between the king and Alicent.
