"What are you all talking about?" asked Prisma.
"How do I put this..." thought Lilia, but her mind went blank as the room was filled with tension, confusion, and a whole lot of misunderstanding.
"I'll explain to them first, Lilia," suggested Silverbrook urgently. Then Silverbrook began filling the others in on certain details. Now, Lilia knew that they had heard this before as 'stories' but some of them at least. Most of them didn't know Silverbrook's stories as they were either busy with work and school or they deemed themselves 'too old' to listen to fairytales.
Speaking of being too old Prisma listened skeptically. When Lilia told her part of what had happened in the forest and her confrontation with the Shadow she was the first to react.
"First of all, moving shadows without opaque objects to make them don't exist," scoffed Prisma.
"And pixies exist?" interjected Nathaniel.
"Yes, and--"
"Exactly, so why can't moving shadows exist," said Nathaniel, "and to think you were supposed to be the smart one." Prisma quickly stepped on his foot. "Ok! ok! Don't put all you're annoyance at me."
"You two, we have a serious situation going on here," reminded Florabell.
"Yes! We must leave! And soon," warned Silverbrook.
"When?" asked Reginald.
"Now."
"You mean 'now' now?" questioned Miranda.
"Yes! Get on with it!"
No one moved, Lilia watched wide-eyed at Silverbrook command's the pixie's face as white and she looked as breathless.
"But--" started Crysta.
"Now!"
"What about the Hervas'?" exclaimed Brianna, Lilia hadn't thought about that yet. Phillip and his parents would be affected.
"The Shadow's only goal is to get to you so I guess the Hervas' will be fine. But you... most definitely not! We'll have to run away."
"You're serious?" asked Sunshine as if Silverbrook has said the most revolting thing ever.
"I'm sorry, but you are all in danger and even if we... say... make it out of the farm we're no longer safe here in this world."
"This world?" asked Reginald. The pixie however ushered them to hurry on. Silverbrook may have been small but she seemed scary. Not as scary as the Shadow but like an angry mom who'd threatened to take away your candy if you didn't obey her.

Now when Silverbrook told them to leave, Lilia thought she was insane. Now she thought Silverbrook was insane. When she told them to pack she kept evaluating what they were bringing, eventually leading them to bring just the needs for a journey. When she meant journey, she meant it. Silverbook made them pack a bunch of bread, fruits, vegetables and a few pots plus some other needs for camping. Though the equipment she reminded them to bring was more than for camping... it was for surviving. Now, Lilia had never experienced camping in the actual wilderness before but Silverbrook seemed to be really good at organizing what to bring and she trusted her judgement.
Once they were done packing basic necessities, Silverbrook then told them to do the most insane thing of all. Leave a note then leave. Lilia was along with the protest as everybody else. Silverbrook though stood firm and explained that the Hervas' would be in terrible trouble soon if they did not leave. The Shadow would try to fish them for clues of where they would go and it would prove dangerous for both sides..
